Poor performance at The Masters
Garcia finished 52nd at The Masters with an eight-over cumulative score.
Impact
Garcia posted over-par rounds in each of the last three days of the tournament, and the lowlight of the final round was when he broke the head off his driver on a cooler on the second tee. Garcia ranked in the top-15 in the field in both driving accuracy and SG: Around-the-Green but was dreadful across other major statistical categories, including 48th in SG: Approach and 53rd in SG: Putting. Garcia has missed the cut in six of his last eight outings at The Masters, with his T23 finish in 2021 being his best result since his victory at Augusta in 2017. He'll return to the LIV Golf circuit next week in Mexico.

Tied for 17th in South Africa
Garcia posted a 16-under cumulative score at LIV Golf South Africa to finish in a five-way tie for 17th.
Impact
Garcia opened the tournament strongly with a bogey-free, seven-under 64 first round. He replicated that score in the third round Saturday, but the Fireballs GC captain posted one-under rounds both Friday and Sunday. Garcia ranked in the top-10 in both driving accuracy and GIR but was let down by his putter, ranking T47 in putts per hole. He has finished in the top-20 in two of the last three LIV Golf tournaments (including T8 in Hong Kong, his best performance of the year). Garcia will be in the field for The Masters in three weeks. He won at Augusta National in 2017 but has missed the cut in six of his last seven appearances.

T8 in Hong Kong defense
Garcia carded a one-under 69 during the final round at LIV Golf Hong Kong to finish in a six-way tie for eighth.
Impact
Garcia opened the tournament strongly with a bogey-free, seven-under 63 first round. He couldn't carry that momentum for the rest of the tournament as he went seven-under over the final three days. Garcia failed to defend his title from 2025, but he did enough over the weekend to earn his first top-10 finish of the 2026 LIV Golf season. He'll be in the field next week for LIV Golf Singapore, where he finished solo second in 2023 and T14-T32 over the last two years.

Share of fourth in Bahrain
Garcia carded a four-under 68 during the final round of the Bahrain Championship on the DP Tour to finish tied with Daniel Hillier for fourth.
Impact
Garcia put together a nice final round that included three consecutive birdies from holes nine to 11, and he would have been in contention for his 17th DP Tour victory had it not been for his double bogey on the par-5 14th hole. He was sixth in the field in SG: Tee to Green and in the top-15 in GIR, birdies made and SG: Around the Green. Garcia will be in Riyadh next week for LIV Golf's first tournament of the 2026 season.
