Share of 18th at Amex Kim fired a six-under 66 during the final round of The American Express to finish in a six-way tie for 18th.

Impact Kim would have been in contention for a much better finish had it not been for his two-over 74 score in the third round. He ranked near the bottom of the field in SG: Apprach to Green and GIR but finished ninth in SG: Around the Green and in the top-20 in SG: Putting, scrambling and birdies made. Kim has finished in the top-20 in each of the first two PGA Tour events of the season, and he'll enter next week's Farmers Insurance Open in 14th in the FedEx Cup standings and 147th in the OWGR.

Tied for 13th at Sony Open Kim posted a two-under 68 in the final round at the Sony Open in Hawaii to finish tied for 13th.

Impact Kim started the final round poorly with bogeys on the second and fourth holes before recovering with an eagle on the par-5 ninth, and he went two-under on the back nine to stay in the top-15 on the leaderboard. He finished near the bottom of the field in SG: Off the Tee (minus-1.13) but ranked sixth in SG: Putting (5.29) and 18th in SG: Around the Green (1.35). It was his best finish in a PGA Tour event since the CJ Cup Byron Nelson in May of 2024 (T4) and moved him up to 150th in the OWGR. Kim is in the field for The American Express in La Quinta, California next week.

Electing to play KFT instead Kim has withdrawn from THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson and will instead play the Tulum Championship on the Korn Ferry Tour this week, Rob Bolton of PGATour.com reports.

Impact Kim is coming off a T7 finish and sits fourth on the Korn Ferry Tour points list in 2025. Instead of returning to the PGA Tour for a one-off start, Kim will keep his focus on trying to stay inside the top-20 on the KFT and earn his PGA Tour card back for 2026.

T6 in putting average at ZOZO Kim closed with a three-over 73 on Sunday at the ZOZO Championship to finish four-under and tied for 46th.

Impact Kim struggled with his ball striking en route to just one birdie during Sunday's final round, losing a collective 4.8 strokes off the tee and with his irons throughout his last 18 holes in Japan. However, he finished T6 among the field in putting average, and Kim improved one spot to No. 122 in the FedExCup Fall standings ahead of next week's World Wide Technology Championship.

Struggles with final round 76 Kim recorded a four-over 76 in the final round of the Farmers Insurance Open to finish tied for 20th place.

Impact Kim started the final round six back of the lead and in eighth place, but he tumbled down the leaderboard after carding three front-nine bogeys and zero birdies. He failed to stand out in any statistical category, losing strokes off-the-tee after hitting just 43 percent of fairways. The PGA Tour rookie has posted four top-20 results 11 starts this season.
