Returning to site of 2019 victory Soderberg (back/ribs) is listed in the field for this week's Omega European Masters.

Impact Soderberg is slated to return from the back and ribs injuries that have kept him sidelined since a WD at June's KLM Open. The 33-year-old Swede still sits top-10 in the DP World Tour's Race to Dubai Rankings, and he's a past champion at the Omega European Masters, having emerged victorious from five-man playoff here at Crans-sur-Sierre GC back in 2019.

Continues to deal with injury Soderberg (ribs/back) has withdrawn from the Open Championship, Rob Bolton of PGATour.com reports.

Impact Soderberg also withdrew from the Scottish Open last week with the same nagging ribs and back injury. He was on such a good run in the Spring, but this injury is putting his season on hold. The field at the Open Championship is now down to 157.

Impact Soderberg withdrew prior to this past week's Genesis Scottish Open on the heels of a WD from the KLM Open in late June, which marked his first appearance since winning the Volvo Car Scandinavian Mixed on the DP World Tour. Soderberg will be making his Open Championship debut when he tees it up Thursday at Royal Troon.
