He gained 2.8 strokes on approach Sunday and ranked fifth for the week in SG: Off-the-tee. It's Power's first top-10 of the year and third top-25 across seven starts.

Impact Power posted a top-20 result in his return from a back injury that had kept him sidelined since a missed cut at the Sony Open in Hawaii, despite ranking just 58th among the field in SG: Putting this past week at Pebble Beach. The Irishman still averaged five birdies per round en route to the T17, and he'll tee it up again this week at the WM Phoenix Open where he placed T66-T20 the past two years.

Impact Power withdrew from The American Express on Saturday, and now we know why. The Irish golfer has an extensive recent injury history, including a hip injury in 2023 and a back injury last season that also forced him to withdraw from the RSM Classic. That ailment appears to have reared its ugly head once again for Power.

This was the second straight T11 finish for the Irishman and his ninth straight made cut. He will remain one of the best options at the Shriners Children's Open next week.
