Makes seven final-round birdies Gerard fired a five-under 65 on Sunday at the Travelers Championship to finish nine-under and tied for 44th.
Impact Gerard lost a season-worst 3.26 strokes on approach while hitting just 46 of 72 greens in regulation throughout his week at TPC River Highlands, but he ranked T12 among the Signature Event field in putts per GIR en route to 19 total birdies. He's now placed T44-MC in two starts since his runner-up effort at the Memorial Tournament, dropping a few spots to No. 22 in the FedExCup standings. Nonetheless, he still ranks top-15 on the PGA Tour in SG: APP this season.

Falls short at the Memorial Gerard lost to J.T. Poston on the second playoff hole of the Memorial Tournament.
Impact Gerard opened the tournament nicely with scores of 67-69, but he was three strokes back of the clubhouse lead after an even-par 72 in the third round. He used a three-under back nine to finish with a four-under 68, but a playoff was needed after Poston made his birdie putt on the 18th hole to put both golfers at 12-under. Both players made par on the first playoff hole, but Gerard's tee shot on the second found the thick rough. His approach shot settled on the green nearly 60 feet away from the cup, and Gerard ultimately came up short after failing to match Poston's par. Gerard excelled with his putter, gaining 10.55 strokes in that category to lead the field at Muirfield. His 22 birdies were also most of the tournament, and he finished the event second T2 in GIR, sixth in SG: Approach and T11 in driving accuracy. The Memorial was Gerard's third runner-up finish of the season, with the first two taking place at the Sony Open and The American Express in January. He'll have two weeks to prepare for the U.S. Open Championship, where he finished T50 in 2025.

Leads field in SG: Putting Gerard fell into a tie for 10th place following a two-over 72 in the final round of the Charles Schwab Challenge.
Impact Gerard came into the final round just one off the lead and in the final group. Sunday was a bit of a struggle, as Gerard was spraying it a bit which led to four bogeys over the first 11 holes against just two birdies. Gerard missed some good opportunities coming home to potentially get back into the hunt for the win, but it just wasn't to be. The 26-year-old is one of the better ball strikers on Tour, but the putter has been a struggle at times. This week kind of the opposite as Gerard led the field in SG: Putting, but was 67th in SG: Off-the-Tee and T42 in GIR's. He'll look to tighten things up next week at at the Memorial Tournament.
