Finishes third at The RSM Classic Castillo shot an eight-under 62 on Sunday at The RSM Classic to finish in solo third place.

Impact Starting the day six shots off the lead, Castillo got off to a fast start with seven front-nine birdies to close the gap to one. He was unable to carry the momentum to the back-nine, however, where he carded two birdies and a bogey to finish two shots back. Castillo was led by his short game, ranking eighth in SG: Around-the-green and third in putting for the week. The rookie finishes the year 102nd in the FedExCup standings, narrowly missing out on retaining full status for next year.

First career top-10 finish Castillo carded a two-under 69 on Sunday at THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson to finish 17-under and tied for fifth.

Impact Castillo lost strokes across the board during his final round at TPC Craig Ranch, but he still hit 14 of 18 greens in regulation en route to ultimately notching his first career top-10 result on the PGA Tour. He finished the week in McKinney ranked eighth among the field in SG: Approach, which guided him to 22 total birdies and an eagle. The 24-year-old jumps to 92nd in the FedExCup standings.

In field for Players Championship Castillo is in the field for The Players Championship, according to PGA Tour Communications.

Impact Citing a back injury, Victor Perez decided to withdraw from The Players Championship. In his place is Castillo, whose last tournament was the Puerto Rico Open, in which he finished eight-under par.

T55 at Vidanta Vallarta Castillo carded a one-over 72 on Sunday at the Mexico Open at VidantaWorld to finish six-under and tied for 55th.

Impact Castillo broke 70 in each of his first three rounds at Vidanta Vallarta before making just two birdies to three bogeys Sunday, when he lost 2.34 total strokes to the field. However, he's now gained at least 1.9 strokes with his iron play in back-to-back starts dating to a T15 at the Farmers Insurance Open. Castillo will peg it again this week at PGA National for his Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches debut.

Drops seven spots Sunday Castillo posted a three-over 75 at the final round of the Farmers Insurance Open to finish tied for 15th place.

Impact The 23-year-old entered Sunday's final round in eighth place, appearing poised to make his first top-10 finish of the 2025 season. However, Castillo struggled to close, bogeying three of his final seven holes to close the event T15. Despite the disappointing close, Castillo ranked 19th in strokes gained approaching the green (1.926) and the seventh in average driving distance (313.6 yards) at the Farmers Insurance Open. The American golfer is not participating in the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am beginning Jan. 30, but he'll aim to build on his impressive performance in his next event.
