MC at Genesis Scottish Open Coody recorded a three-over cumulative score through the first two rounds of the Genesis Scottish Open to miss the cut by five strokes.
Impact Coody opened the second round with two birdies over the first four holes and needed to go one-under the rest of the way to qualify for the weekend, but those hopes were dashed by four bogeys from holes five to nine. He ranked 153rd out of the 156-man field in SG: Putting on Friday, losing 4.28 strokes. That outdid the strong work he did on the tee box, ranking third in driving distance in sixth in SG: Off-the-Tee in the second round. Coody had three top-15 finishes over his first four tournaments of 2026 but has failed to record another top-15 finish since. He'll tee off next week in what will be his debut at The Open Championship.

Impact Coody finished the tournament T10 in GIR and in the top-25 in SG: Approach and Around, birdies and driving distance. However, he also lost 2.92 strokes with his putter, which was 70th out of the 79 players who made the cut at TPC Deere Run. Coody will tee off next week at the Genesis Scottish Open, which will be his debut at the event.

Misses cut at Memorial Coody missed the cut by five strokes at the Memorial Tournament after posting a 78-76 scorecard.
Impact Coody had his work cut out for him Friday after going four-over on the back nine of the first round, which included a double bogey on the par-4 18th. The cut line was set at five-over, but he was unable to gain the stroke he needed to make it to the weekend. Coody's struggles came from his iron play and short game, as he lost 3.17 strokes in approach and 3.59 strokes around the green. The 26-year-old American hasn't regained the form he had at the beginning of the season, when he logged five top-20 finishes over his first six tournaments (including T2 at the Farmers Insurance Open). Coody's next appearance will be at the U.S. Open Championship in two weeks time, which will be his debut at the major.

Share of 22nd at Colonial CC Coody posted a five-under cumulative score at the Charles Schwab Challenge to finish in a six-way tie for 22nd.
Impact Coody opened the tournament with a one-over 71 but shot under par in each of the next three rounds, with his three-under 67 score Friday being his best. He ranked sixth in driving distance, T10 in scrambling, 15th in both driving accuracy and SG: Putting and 23rd in SG: Off-the-Tee, though Coody finished outside the top-50 in SG: Approach and Around-the-Green, GIR and birdies. Coody has finished in the top-25 in four of his last six tournaments, though that span includes an MC at the PGA Championship after a poor second round at Aronimink. He's in the field for the Memorial Tournament, which will be his debut at Murifield Village Golf Club.

Third in SG: Putting at THE CJ CUP Coody closed with a four-under 67 on Sunday at THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson to finish 15-under and tied for 19th.
Impact Coody racked up eight final-round birdies while gaining 2.62 strokes with the putter Sunday, hitting 15 of 18 greens in regulation as well. However, he also tallied a pair of bogeys and a double, losing 1.19 strokes around the green in the process. For the week, Coody ultimately ranked third among the field in SG: Putting and fourth in SG: Off-the-Tee, though he lost 3.29 strokes on approach in McKinney. He'll be in the field again this week for the Charles Schwab Challenge where he placed T16-T5 the past two years.

Crumbles to MC at PGA Championship Coody posted a five-over 75 in the second round of the PGA Championship to miss the cut by two strokes.
Impact Coody opened the tournament with a one-over 71 score in the first round, and he was on track to make the four-over cut line after going even on the front nine of the second round. However, he fell apart completely on the back nine, posting four bogeys, a double bogey and a birdie. His struggles Friday were due to his performance around and on the green, losing 1.24 strokes and 1.19 strokes around the green and with the putter, respectively. It was Coody's fourth missed cut of the season (across 14 tournaments), and he'll look to bounce back next week at THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson, where he finished T25 in 2025 after missing the cut in each of his three prior outings at the tournament.

Second in SG: OTT at Doral Coody carded a two-under 70 on Sunday at the Cadillac Championship to finish four-under and tied for 38th.
Impact Coody's final round on the Blue Monster Course at Doral was highlighted by a streak of three birdies on hole Nos. 15-17, and he ultimately closed out the Signature Event ranked second among the field in SG: Off-the-Tee and T7 in driving accuracy. Coody racked up 18 total birdies in Miami, despite losing 1.6 strokes on approach. He'll be in the field again this week for the Truist Championship at Quail Hollow Club, where he missed the cut during his Wells Fargo Championship debut back in 2023.

SG: Approach leader at Harbour Town Coody finished tied for 16th at the RBC Heritage after posting a nine-under cumulative score.
Impact Coody's six-under 65 score Saturday was his best round of the tournament, though he was unable to carry that momentum into Sunday, when he finished with a two-over 73 that included an eagle, two birdies and six bogeys. Coody was excellent with his irons, gaining 5.89 strokes in his approach game to lead the field in that category. However, he also finished 52nd in SG: Off-the-Tee, T54 in driving accuracy and 70th in SG: Around-the-Green. Still, it was an encouraging overall performance from Coody, who was cleared to participate at the RBC Heritage after withdrawing from the Texas Children's Houston Open in late March due to a back injury. He won't participate in next week's Zurich Classic of New Orleans.

Not returning for Texas Open Coody (back) has withdrawn from this week's Valero Texas Open, Rob Bolton of PGATour.com reports.
Impact Coody had to withdraw from last week's Houston Open with a back injury and it appears he is still not ready to return. Coody came into Memorial Park just a spot outside the Top 50 in the OWGR, but was unable to finish the tournament. As a result he will not be in the field for The Masters. Surely that has to be disappointing given how Coody started the season, but he has now gone MC-MC-T55-WD in his last four events. He will look to get healthy and get back to playing some good golf.

Withdraws from Houston Open Coody (back) has withdrawn prior to the second round of the Texas Children's Houston Open, PGA Tour Communications reports.
Impact Coody posted an even-par opening round to put himself one shot outside the cut line but ultimately wasn't healthy enough to tee-it-up Friday. Following a strong start to the year with five top-20s in six events, he's failed to see the weekend in three of his last four starts. Currently 51st in the OWGR, Coody will need to win next week's Valero Texas Open to get a spot in The Masters.

Impact Coody missed back-to-back cuts to begin his Florida Swing before gaining a season-high 3.22 strokes putting en route to 15 total birdies on a difficult Innisbrook track this past week. However, he lost more than three strokes around the green for a third consecutive start. Nonetheless, Coody remains top-30 in the early FedExCup standings, and he'll peg it again this week at the Texas Children's Houston Open where he placed T52-T57 the past two years.

Adds fifth top-20 of season Coody closed with a four-under 67 on Sunday at The Genesis Invitational to finish 10-under and tied for 16th.
Impact Coody gained strokes across the board in his Riviera Country Club debut, notably ranking top-10 among the Signature Event field in driving distance, scrambling and putting percentage from inside 10 feet as well. The T16 result is Coody's fifth top-20 finish through his first six starts of the 2026 season, ascending from 96th to 45th in the Official World Golf Ranking since the turn of the calendar year.
