Not returning for Texas Open
Coody (back) has withdrawn from this week's Valero Texas Open, Rob Bolton of PGATour.com reports.
Impact
Coody had to withdraw from last week's Houston Open with a back injury and it appears he is still not ready to return. Coody came into Memorial Park just a spot outside the Top 50 in the OWGR, but was unable to finish the tournament. As a result he will not be in the field for The Masters. Surely that has to be disappointing given how Coody started the season, but he has now gone MC-MC-T55-WD in his last four events. He will look to get healthy and get back to playing some good golf.

Withdraws from Houston Open
Coody (back) has withdrawn prior to the second round of the Texas Children's Houston Open, PGA Tour Communications reports.
Impact
Coody posted an even-par opening round to put himself one shot outside the cut line but ultimately wasn't healthy enough to tee-it-up Friday. Following a strong start to the year with five top-20s in six events, he's failed to see the weekend in three of his last four starts. Currently 51st in the OWGR, Coody will need to win next week's Valero Texas Open to get a spot in The Masters.

Ties for 55th at Valspar
Coody closed with an even-par 71 on Sunday at the Valspar Championship to finish one-over and tied for 55th.
Impact
Coody missed back-to-back cuts to begin his Florida Swing before gaining a season-high 3.22 strokes putting en route to 15 total birdies on a difficult Innisbrook track this past week. However, he lost more than three strokes around the green for a third consecutive start. Nonetheless, Coody remains top-30 in the early FedExCup standings, and he'll peg it again this week at the Texas Children's Houston Open where he placed T52-T57 the past two years.

Adds fifth top-20 of season
Coody closed with a four-under 67 on Sunday at The Genesis Invitational to finish 10-under and tied for 16th.
Impact
Coody gained strokes across the board in his Riviera Country Club debut, notably ranking top-10 among the Signature Event field in driving distance, scrambling and putting percentage from inside 10 feet as well. The T16 result is Coody's fifth top-20 finish through his first six starts of the 2026 season, ascending from 96th to 45th in the Official World Golf Ranking since the turn of the calendar year.

T48 at Pebble Beach
Coody finished in a four-way tie for 48th at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am after recording a nine-under cumulative score.
Impact
Coody put together a 69-68-70-72 score card at Pebble Beach. Despite ranking sixth in the field in SG: Off-the-Tee, he lost over four strokes around the green and just over two strokes on the green while finishing near the bottom in GIR and driving accuracy. It broke Coody's streak of top-20 finishes at four Tour events, but he still sits 12th in the FedExCup Standings with 390 points. He is not in the field for The Genesis Invitational next week.

GIR leader at WM Phoenix Open
Coody fired a three-under 68 in the final round of the WM Phoenix Open to finish tied with Viktor Hovland and Ryo Hisatsune for 10th.
Impact
Coody opened the WM Open with a five-under 66 before going seven-under over the final three days of the tournament. He led the field in GIR, finished second in SG: Off the Tee, third in birdies made and in the top-15 in SG: Approach to Green, driving distance and driving accuracy. Coody has finished in the top-15 in three of four PGA Tour events this season, including a T2 finish at last week's Farmers Insurance Open, and he sits seventh in the FedExCup standings with 376.5 points. Surges to T2 finish at FIO
Coody fired a seven-under 65 in the final round of the Farmer's Insurance Open to finish tied with Si Woo Kim and Ryo Hisatsune for second.
Impact
Justin Rose dominated the tournament from start to finish with a seven-stroke victory, so Coody and the rest of the field were really competing for second at Torrey Pines. Coody ended up saving his best round of the FIO for last, finishing both the front and back nines with three consecutive birdies. He led the field in SG: Off the Tee (4.38), ranked second in GIR and birdies made, ninth in driving distance and in the top-25 in SG: Putting and SG: Approach to Green. Coody is in the field for the Waste Management Phoenix Open next week.

Fades to T18 after 62 opening round
Coody finished tied for 18th at The American Express Open after carding a four-under 68 during the final round.
Impact
Coody came out firing with a bogey-free, 10-under 62 opening round -- which included seven consecutive birdies on the back nine -- to enter the clubhouse tied with Min Woo Lee for the lead. Coody was unable to carry that momentum over the final three days of the tournament, going nine-under over that span to sneak into the top-20 and finished T6 and seventh in the field in GIR and SG: Around the Green, respectively. He has finished in the top-20 in each of the first two Tour tournaments of the season and sits 14th in the FedEx Cup standings and 86th in the OWGR heading into next week's Farmers Insurance Open, where he has failed to make the cut in each of the last two years.

Jumps 30 spots to T13 in Hawaii
Coody carded a bogey-free, six-under 64 during the final round of the Sony Open to finish in a six-way tie for 13th.
Impact
Coody had an up-and-down performance in Hawaii, but he put it all together with a strong showing Sunday and had the second-biggest jump on the leaderboard. He finished eighth in driving distance, ninth in putts per GIR and in the top-25 in SG: Off the Tee, Around the Green and Putting. It was his first top-15 finish on the PGA Tour since the Bank of Utah Championship in October (T3), and Coody will look to carry his momentum from the final round of the Sony Open into The American Express next week.
