Impact Waring opened the tournament strongly with a seven-under 63 first round and entered Sunday in the top-10 after going three-under across Friday and Saturday. However, the 41-year-old Englishman tumbled 32 spots down the leaderboard in the final round, which included three bogeys from holes 11 to 14. Waring ranked third in the field in SG: Putting, T12 in driving accuracy and 18th in SG: Off-the-Tee, but he finished near the bottom in SG: Apprach (62nd) and SG: Around-the-Green (75th). It was his first made cut in four Tour events this season, but his finish at Memorial Park will leave a sour taste in his mouth. Waring will look to bounce back at the Valero Texas Open next week, where he missed the cut in his lone prior outing in 2025.
