Nears first PGA Tour win Rodgers carded a five-under 65 in the final round of the Sony Open in Hawaii to finish in solo third place.

Impact Rodgers started the final round four shots off the lead, but quickly put himself in the mix with a four-under front-nine. Rodgers has multiple putts on the back-nine that barely missed the hole, which would have allowed him to put more pressure on Chris Gotterup. Nonetheless, the 33-year-old continues to look for his elusive first PGA Tour win. This is still a great way to start the season after gaining strokes across the board. Rodgers now has top-seven finishes in three of his last four starts dating back to the fall. He'll look to add another at The American Express next week.

Impact Rodgers began the tournament with a five-over 76 and despite bouncing back with six birdies Friday was unable to make the weekend. He dropped shots on 8-of-36 holes as he hit just 15-of-28 fairways and 58 percent of greens in regulation. At 63rd in the FedExCup Fall Standings, Rodgers will need a strong showing at The RSM Classic next week to climb into the top-60 and secure his spot into the first two signature events of 2026.
