FedEx Cup to be decided at Tour Championship and Europe begins key stretch at British Masters

The PGA Tour wraps up its season with the Tour Championship

Top-10 at BMW Championship Brennan carded a one-under 69 in the final round of the BMW Championship to finish tied with Sungjae Im for 10th.

Impact Three of the Brennan's four rounds at Bellerive Country Club were one-under 69 scores, with Friday (five-under 65) being the exception. He led the field in St. Louis in SG: Off-the-Tee, gaining 3.74 strokes, while also ranking fourth in driving distance, ninth in scrambling and top-25 in SG: Putting and Approach, though he lost 2.09 strokes around the green (43rd). Brennan has finished in the top-15 in three of his last four outings, including a win at the Wyndham Championship. His efforts in St. Louis weren't enough to qualify for the TOUR Championship, but seeing as he's top-50 in the FedExCup Standings, Brennan will be in the field for all Signature Events in 2027.

T42 at TPC Southwind Brennan carded a one-over 71 on Sunday at the FedEx St. Jude Championship to finish one-over and tied for 42nd.

Impact Brennan, who picked up his second career PGA Tour victory in his previous outing at the Wyndham Championship, gained 2.23 strokes off the tee this past week at TPC Southwind where he also ranked 11th among the field in total feet of putts made en route to 15 birdies. However, the 24-year-old lost 3.30 strokes with his irons and another 2.25 strokes around the green in Memphis, converting just 14 of 28 scrambling opportunities in the process. Nonetheless, Brennan remains 47th in the FedExCup standings ahead of his upcoming BMW Championship debut.

Wins Wyndham Championship Brennan won the Wyndham Championship by three strokes following a six-under 64 final round.

Impact Brennan saw his score steadily improve over the first three days at Sedgefield Country Club, and he used a seven-under 63 third round to enter Sunday tied with Beau Hossler at the top of the leaderboard. Brennan separated himself from Hossler with five-straight birdies from holes four to eight, with his tee shot on the par-3 seventh coming within a foot of a hole-in-one. Brennan rebounded from a bogey on the 11th with a birdie on the 13th and ended his tournament with another birdie on the difficult par-4 18th. His short game wasn't his best, but he led the field in birdies and bogeys and finished the tournament second in SG: Putting, third in both GIR and SG: Off-the-Tee, ninth in driving distance, 11th in SG: Approach and T23 in driving accuracy. It was the second PGA Tour victory of Brennan's career, earning him an exemption into the 2027 Masters. Importantly for Brennan, the win catapulted him from 105th to 47th in the FedExCup Standings to earn himself a spot in the playoffs, which starts next week at the St. Jude Championship. If he stays in the top-50 after the playoff opener, then he would qualify for the BMW Championship and earn an exemption into all Signature Events in 2027.

Tumbles to T15 at Rocket Classic Brennan recorded a three-over 73 in the final round of the Rocket Classic to finish in a five-way tie for 15th.

Impact Brennan was one of the contenders heading into Sunday after a six-under 64 third round. He was actually at the top of the leaderboard after going two-under through the first three holes of the final round, but he lost that lead with a double bogey on the par-4 seventh, when his tee shot went out of bounds. He proceeded to go four-over on the back nine with two bogeys and a double bogey, which caused him to drop 13 spots down the leaderboard from the beginning of the day. He finished the tournament third in SG: Putting and feet of putts made, T4 in birdies, eighth in SG: Approach and 12th in driving distance, but he also ranked outside the top-60 in both SG: Off-the-Tee and Around. Brennan's free fall on the back nine of the final round was crushing for the 24-year-old American, who entered the week 106th in the FedExCup Standings. A win in Detroit would have moved him up to 46th in the Standings and a lock for the playoffs, but he'll now have to earn his way into the postseason with a strong performance in next week's Wyndham Championship.

Nevertheless, he ultimately paced the tournament in driving distance, and he also gained a career-high 6.13 strokes on approach in Minnesota. At 106th in the FedExCup standings, Brennan will make his Rocket Classic debut this week at Detroit Golf Club.
