Strong second round at TCHO McGreevy posted a nine-under cumulative score at the Texas Children's Houston Open to finish tied with Karl Vilips for 19th.

Impact McGreevy started the tournament out slowly with a two-over 72 on Thursday, but he surged up the leaderboard with a bogey-free, seven-under 63 second round that included three consecutive birdies from holes eight to 10 before going three-under over the weekend. He ranked 12th in both birdies made and driving accuracy, 17th in SG: Approach and T24 in GIR. McGreevy has made the cut in seven of 10 Tour events in 2026, but his performance in Houston was his first top-20 finish of the year and best outing since his solo second at the RSM Classic in November. He'll tee off at the Valero Texas Open next week, where he's failed to make the cut in three prior outings at TPC San Antonio.

Impact McGreevy's final round at Pebble Beach was highlighted by an eagle on the par-5 14th hole, sinking a 45-foot bunker shot for the trey. He ultimately ranked T9 among the field in FIR and T17 in GIR percentage for the week, though he lost just over a stroke with the flat stick while ranking just 73rd in average distance of putts made per round. Nonetheless, McGreevy has now placed T48 or better in four consecutive starts since his missed cut at the Sony Open in Hawaii, and he'll peg it again this week at Riviera Country Club.

It was a disappointing finish for McGreevy, but he has made the cut in each of his last two Tour outings and will look to extend that streak to three at next week's WM Phoenix Open, though he hasn't made the cut at TPC Scottsdale in each of his prior appearances in 2023 and 2025.
