Impact The cut line was eventually set at three-under during Friday's round, and Meissner would have easily made it to the weekend had it not been for a disastrous double bogey on the par-4 18th. The timing couldn't have been worse for the American, who entered the week 71st in the FedExCup Standings with only the top-70 making the playoffs. Assuming he is in fact eliminated from playoff contention, the next time Meissner can tee off at a PGA Tour event will be Sept. 17 at the Biltmore Championship.

Impact Meissner went four-under over his last 10 holes of the second round. He finished with a two-under cumulative score and was on track to make it to the weekend, only for the cut line to move to three-under Friday afternoon. It was the fifth time this season that Meissner has missed the cut (across 19 tournaments). He's in the field for next week's Rocket Classic, where finished T14 last year and T59 in 2024.

Impact Meissner made his move over the weekend, going 12-under over the final two days of the tournament to capture his fourth top-10 finish of the season and post his best result since his T3 at the Charles Schwab Challenge. Impact Meissner posted scores of 66-67-67 over the first three days of the tournament and entered Sunday just two strokes back of 54-hole leader Eric Cole.
