Impact Westwood opened the tournament with rounds of 67-68-68 and entered Sunday tied with Joaquin Niemann at the top of the leaderboard. Westwood's two-under 69 score in the final round wasn't enough to hold onto the lead, as he was surpassed by Richard T. Lee and eventual winner Bryson DeChambeau. However, it was a promising result for Westwood; his solo third was his best finish at a LIV Golf tournament since joining the breakaway tour in 2022. With a T18 last week in Hong Kong, it appears the 52-year-old Englishman is past the wrist injury that prevented him from playing in the first two LIV tournaments of the 2026 season. Westwood and the LIV Golf league will head to South Africa next week for the first time.
