Impact Both Ventura and Fisk posted eight-under 63 final rounds to make Sunday's leaderboard more interesting, but Andrew Novak did enough on the back nine to come away with the five-stroke victory and his first PGA Tour win. Excluding the Zurich Classic, it was the first runner-up finish of the season for Ventura, who finished the tournament eighth in SG: Off-the-Tee, T11 in birdies and top-20 in GIR, driving distance and SG: Approach. He's moved up to 76th in the FedExCup Fall Standings heading into next week's World Wide Technology Championship, where he finished T27 last year.

It was enough for the duo to be tied with Alex Smalley and Hayden Springer at the top of the leaderboard, but a three-team playoff did not end up happening after the Fitzpatrick brothers carded a birdie on the 18th to seal the one-stroke victory. For Ventura and Reitan, both were seeking the first PGA Tour win of their respective careers, but that will have to wait for another time. Ventura is not listed in the field for the Cadillac Championship next week, but Reitan is.

Impact Ventura began Sunday's round in the top-10 but dealt with inconsistency as he recorded four birdies and four bogeys to fall out of the top-20. He had a great week on the greens at the South Course, gaining 6.2 strokes putting to rank third for the tournament, but he lost 3.5 strokes from tee to green. Nevertheless, Ventura has shown better form since the fall and now has three top-25s across his last seven starts.
