This past week at TPC Twin Cities, Roy ranked top-20 among the field in overall proximity, par-5 scoring and putting from inside 15 feet, though he struggled on the par-3s.

Misses out on exemption to The Open Roy recorded a 10-under cumulative score at the Genesis Scottish Open to finish tied with Chris Gotterup for 11th.

Impact Roy was in the top-10 of the leaderboard heading into the final round, thanks in large part to his five-under 65 score Saturday. He couldn't bring that strong play into Sunday and particularly struggled on the green, ranking 51st out of 71 players in SG: Putting in the final round. For the tournament, Roy led the field at The Renaissance Club in SG: Around-the-Green (plus-5.42 strokes) while ranking T5 in birdies and 20th in SG: Off-the-Tee. His T11 finish in Scotland was Roy's best outing since his T3 at the ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic in May. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough for the American to secure one of the three exemptions to The Open Championship, with those spots going instead to Johnny Keefer (T3), Michael Thorbjornsen (T7) and Victor Perez (T9). Roy is currently listed in the field for the Corales Puntacana Championship next week.

Impact Roy opened the tournament with a two-under 69 score Thursday. He held a three-under cumulative score through 13 holes in the second round and was right on the cut line, but he failed to qualify for the weekend after carding bogeys on three of his last five holes. Roy connected on 11 of 14 fairways in the second round but was let down by his putter, losing a whopping 2.49 strokes in that category while losing a further 1.27 strokes around the green. He's finished T71 or worse in each of his last five tournament with three missed cuts, including the U.S. Open. Roy will look to bounce back next week at the Genesis Scottish Open, which will be his debut at the event.

Impact Roy had another great driving week gaining nearly four strokes to the field off the tee, which was the third-best mark in the field. Roy was also T4 in GIR's hit and T10 in scrambling. While it was a good overall showing, Roy has been bumped out of the Aon Swing 5 by a couple other players and is now sitting as the fourth alternate for the Arnold Palmer Invitational. He could instead play the Puerto Rico Open next week are just rest up for THE PLAYERS Championship.

Climbs leaderboard Sunday Roy jumped into a share of 28th place after firing a seven-under 64 in the final round of the 3M Open.

Impact Roy's closing round was highlighted by birdies on three of the final four holes as he tied for the low round of the day to climb 38 spots on the leaderboard. He led the field Sunday by gaining over five strokes on the greens and ranked fourth in SG: Putting for the tournament. Roy will need to climb six spots in the FedExCup Standings at next week's Wyndham Championship in order to make the playoffs.
