Impact It was a solid performance from Roy after missing the cut in each of his two prior Tour outings. He finished 10th in the field in SG: Around the Green and in the top-25 in driving accuracy, birdies made and SG: Putting, though he was below average in SG: Off the Tee and SG: Approach to Green. Roy is in the field for next week's AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

Impact Roy started off hot with an eight-under 62 first round to end the day as the co-leader with Nick Taylor, though neither player managed to carry that momentum into the final three days of the tournament. Roy ranked fifth and seventh in SG: Putting and SG: Around the Green, respectively, but he ranked near the bottom of the field in GIR and SG: Approach to Green. It was his best performance on a PGA Tour event since the John Deere Classic in July (T3), and Roy will enter The American Express next week ranked 137th in the OWGR.

Climbs leaderboard Sunday Roy jumped into a share of 28th place after firing a seven-under 64 in the final round of the 3M Open.

Impact Roy's closing round was highlighted by birdies on three of the final four holes as he tied for the low round of the day to climb 38 spots on the leaderboard. He led the field Sunday by gaining over five strokes on the greens and ranked fourth in SG: Putting for the tournament. Roy will need to climb six spots in the FedExCup Standings at next week's Wyndham Championship in order to make the playoffs.

Impact After initially setting the course record Thursday with a 10-under 62 (which was bested by Jake Knapp's 61 on Friday), Roy cooled off until Sunday with six birdies to climb back into the top-10.
