Nearly gets second India win
Nakajima had to settle for second place at the DP World India Championship after shooting a three-under 69 in the final round.
Impact
Nakajima held a two-shot lead over Tommy Fleetwood going into Sunday, but was unable to hold off the hard-charging Englishman. Nakajima shot a bogey-free final round, but just couldn't get the putts to fall the way Fleetwood was able to. A win would have been his second in the last two years in India, but it just wasn't to be this time. Nakajima does move up to 12th in the Race to Dubai standings and is good position to secure a PGA Tour card for 2026. He will tee it up at the Genesis Championship in South Korea.

Earns first DP World Tour win
Nakajima cruised to a four-shot win at the Hero Indian Open following a one-over 73 in the final round.
Impact
Nakajima raced out in front this week after starting with back-to-back rounds of seven-under 65. He further took command with a 68 in round three. On Sunday he saw his lead continue to grow following four birdies to just one bogey in the first 13 holes. Nakajima ended up making a double-bogey and three bogeys on the final five holes, but it didn't even matter. The 23-year-old now has his first win on the DP World Tour and moves up to a career-high 78th in the OWGR. A good close to the season on the DPWT and who knows Nakajima might be looking at a PGA Tour card.
