Impact Smith remained bogey free throughout Sunday's final round, but he actually lost 0.46 strokes on approach en route to just three birdies, and he hit only seven of 14 fairways in regulation. Nevertheless, Smith ended the event ranked eighth among the field in SG: Off-the-Tee and T10 in GIR percentage at TPC Twin Cities. He's now placed top-40 in three consecutive outings since his missed cut at the RBC Canadian Open, residing 67th in the FedExCup standings ahead of his upcoming Rocket Classic debut.
3 DAYS AGO • ROTOWIRE
Fourth in driving accuracy at The Open Smith finished tied for 18th at The Open Championship with a three-under cumulative score.
Impact Smith opened the tournament with a two-under 68 in the first round but gained just one stroke over the next 54 holes. He connected on 67.9 percent of fairways at Royal Birkdale, good for fourth-best in the tournament, while also ranking eighth in SG: Putting and 19th in SG: Approach. However, Smith lost 3.54 strokes around the green, which ranked second-to-last out of those who qualified for the weekend. He has three top-25 finishes over his last four tournaments and is now 66th in the FedExCup Standings, which is within the top-70 that would qualify for the FedExCup playoffs at the end of the season. Smith will tee off next week at the 3M Open, which will be his debut at TPC Twin Cities.
JULY 19 • ROTOWIRE
Drops to T21 after 36-hole lead Smith posted an even-par 70 in the final round of the Genesis Scottish Open to finish in a five-way tie for 21st.
Impact Smith caught fire Friday with a seven-under 63 with eight birdies and a bogey, and he entered the weekend tied with Rory McIlroy and eventual winner Tom Kim atop the leaderboard. However, Smith was unable to maintain that weekend over the next two days, posting a two-over 72 on Saturday before failing to make any ground in the final round, a performance that was eerily similar to his outing at the Charles Schwab Challenge in late May. The Englishman connected on 37 of 52 fairways, which was tied for the best driving accuracy in the field. He also ranked T3 in scrambling, T6 in GIR, T10 in bogeys and T11 in SG: Off-the-Tee, though he also finished 50th and 54th in SG: Putting and Around, respectively. Smith will tee off at The Open Championship at Royal Birkdale next week, where he finished T45 last year at Royal Portrush.
JULY 13 • ROTOWIRE
Fails to hold 36-hole lead at CSC Smith registered an eight-under cumulative score at the Charles Schwab Challenge to finish tied with Justin Thomas and Hideki Matsuyama for 13th.
Impact Smith was the clubhouse leader heading into the weekend after posting back-to-back, five-under 65 scores, carding just one bogey in the process. The Englishman was in a good spot for his maiden victory on the PGA Tour, but he was sunk by a four-over 74 score Saturday that included three consecutive bogeys from holes five to seven. He recovered slightly with a two-under 68 in the final round to crack the top-15, but it was a far cry from where he was after 36 holes. Smith was one of the better ball strikers at Colonial Country Club, ranking third in the field in SG: Off-the-Tee (including T2 in driving accuracy) as well as T8 in GIR, 13th in SG: Around-the-Green and 22nd in SG: Approach. His performance on the green let him down, particularly in the third round, when he lost 4.18 strokes with his putter. Smith is listed as an alternate for the Memorial Tournament next week.
JUNE 1 • ROTOWIRE
T59 at THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson Smith carded an even-par 71 on Sunday at THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson to finish nine-under and tied for 59th.
Impact Smith struggled with his short game at TPC Craig Ranch where he lost a collective 3.76 strokes on and around the greens while converting just 10 of 20 scrambling opportunities, but he gained three strokes on approach en route to 17 total birdies and two eagles. The T59 result drops Smith from 63rd to 66th in the FedExCup standings, but he'll be in the field again this week at Colonial Country Club for his Charles Schwab Challenge debut.
MAY 26 • ROTOWIRE
Teeing it up at Aronimink Smith is listed in the field for this week's PGA Championship.

Second alternate at Quail Hollow Smith has withdrawn his name from the field for this week's ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic, Rob Bolton of PGATour.com reports.
Impact Smith is currently listed as the second alternate for this week's Truist Championship, so he won't travel to Myrtle Beach in hopes of earning a spot in the field at Quail Hollow instead. The Englishman is coming off a T55 at the Cadillac Championship where he lost 4.06 strokes with the putter, though he ranked T13 among the Signature Event's field in GIR percentage.
MAY 4 • ROTOWIRE
Jumps to top-20 at RBC Heritage Smith carded a five-under 66 during the final round of the RBC Heritage to finish tied for 16th.
Impact Smith's efforts Sunday propelled the Englishman 32 spots up the leaderboard for his third top-20 finish in 10 tournaments this season. He ranked in the top-15 in the field in driving accuracy, GIR and SG: Off-the-Tee, though he struggled in the short game, ranking 68th in SG: Around-the-Green. Smith is not listed in the field for the Zurich Classic next week.
APRIL 21 • ROTOWIRE
T44 at TCHO Smith closed with a one-under 69 on Sunday at the Texas Children's Houston Open to finish five-under and tied for 44th.
Impact Coming off a solo-third at the Valspar Championship, Smith broke par in all four rounds last week at Memorial Park, where he ultimately ranked 12th among the TCHO field in SG: Ballstriking and 16th in overall proximity. However, he also lost a collective 3.46 strokes on and around the greens in Houston. Smith will tee it up again this week at TPC San Antonio for his Valero Texas Open debut.
MARCH 31 • ROTOWIRE
Jumps to third at Valspar Smith fired a five-under 66 in the final round of the Valspar Championship to finish solo third, two strokes back of winner Matt Fitzpatrick.
Impact Smith saved his best round of the tournament for last Sunday, though it was a roller coaster start after his two birdies on holes one and two were negated by back-to-back bogeys on the next two holes. He went five-under over his final 14 holes of the day and had his chances of jumping to the top of the leaderboard, including a 12-foot birdie putt on the par-3 17th that barely missed to the left. Smith led the field at the Valspar Championship in GIR while ranking third in birdies made, fourth in SG: Off-the-Tee and in the top-20 in driving distance, SG: Approach and SG: Around-the-Green. It was the first top-3 PGA Tour finish in Smith's career, and he'll look to carry that momentum into the Texas Children's Houston Open next week, which will be his debut appearance at the event.
MARCH 22 • ROTOWIRE
Top-25 result in Palm Beach Smith moved into a share of 23rd place following his three-under 68 in the final round of the Cognizant Classic.
Impact Smith made the cut on the number on Friday evening, but a 67-68 weekend helped propel him into the top 25 of the tournament. This will be his second straight top-25 finish after a T16 last time out at TPC Scottsdale. Smith had a solid tournament across the board gaining strokes in every category with his best being 18th in SG: Around-the-Green. Smith was slated to tee it up at the Puerto Rico Open next week, but he has decided to pass on that.
MARCH 2 • ROTOWIRE

He finished T6 in the field in GIR and ninth in SG: Putting while ranking in the top-20 in birdies made and SG: Off the Tee. Smith is not in the field for next week's AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

Makes cut in Honolulu Smith finished in a share of 66th place at the Sony Open in Hawaii following a two-under 68 in the final round.
Impact Smith was able to make the cut this week, but that was really all he had to celebrate about after a two-over-par weekend. The Englishman ranked 18th in SG: Off-the-Tee, but 63rd in SG: Around-the-Green and 68th in SG: Putting. Smith is just getting going in his rookie season on the PGA Tour after a long stint with the DP World Tour being his primary tour. He will tee it up at The American Express.
JANUARY 19 • ROTOWIRE
T2 finish in Germany Smith closed with a two-under 70 on Sunday to finish in a share of second place at the BMW International Open.
Impact Smith came into the final round with a share of the lead, but just couldn't quite put it all together to stay with Ewen Ferguson on Sunday. He made three bogeys, which was more than he made in any other round for the week. Smith does move inside the top-20 in the Race to Dubai and inside the top-100 of the OWGR with this finish, however. The Englishman will hope to keep things rolling at the Genesis Scottish Open.
JULY 8, 2024 • ROTOWIRE

The best performance on the final nine holes came on Sunday when he tallied an eagle and three birdies. Smith continues to rack up solid finishes with this being his third top-12 in his last four starts. The Englishman is getting closer to that first win since the 2022 Portugal Masters. Smith will be in the field for the Hero Dubai Desert Classic.
