Tied for 24th at TPC Sawgrass Spaun posted a four-under cumulative score to finish tied for 24th with William Mouw and Alex Smalley at THE PLAYERS Championship.

Impact Spaun's best round of the tournament came Saturday with a four-under 68 score that included three-straight birdies from holes 12 to 14. He ranked 12th in the field in SG: Approach, T16 in GIR and in the top-30 in driving accuracy, driving distance and SG: Putting. It's been a challenging start to the season for Spaun, who has dropped to 12th in the OWGR from sixth at the end of 2025. He finished T40 or worse in each of his first five Tour outings of the season, including missed cuts in back-to-back signature events at The Genesis and the Arnold Palmer Invitational. Spaun will tee off at the Valspar Championship next week, where he's missed the cut in three of his four prior appearances.

MC at The Genesis Invitational Spaun posted a 36-hole score of four-over par to miss the cut at The Genesis Invitational by four shots.

Impact Spaun struggled with his game off the tee this past weekend at The Genesis Invitational where he lost strokes to the field in SG: Off-The-Tee in both rounds thanks to him only hitting 16 of 28 fairways. To make matters worse, Spaun wasn't able to pick up strokes on the green to make up for his poor play off the tee. In fact, Spaun lost more than three strokes to the field in round one in SG: Putting, ranking 63rd in the field. While hi SG: Putting numbers improved in the second round, it wasn't enough to make up for the mistakes. It was another disappointing outing for the home town favorite who now has two missed cuts on the season and hasn't finished better than T40 in any tournament this year. Spaun will look to turn things around during the Florida swing.

Improves over weekend Spaun posted a 10-under cumulative score at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am to finish tied with Ryan Gerard and Si Woo Kim for 45th.

Impact Spaun jumped up the leaderboard after going nine-under over the final two days at Pebble Beach. He struggled around and on the green, though he ranked top-25 in the field in GIR, SG: Approach-to-Green and SG: Off-the-Tee. Spaun has finished T40 or worse in each of his first three outings of the 2026 Tour season and will look for better results next week at The Genesis Invitational, where he missed the cut when the event was last hosted at The Riviera Country Club in 2024.

Impact Spaun withdrew prior to last week's WM Phoenix Open, but he plans to peg it this week at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am where he placed T33-T54 the past two years.

Impact It's unclear why Spaun chose to withdraw from the tournament, but he'll presumably look to return as soon as possible. Marcelo Rozo will take his place in the field.

Impact Spaun lost 2.6 strokes putting throughout his opening round on Torrey Pines' South Course, making just 38 total feet of putts in the process. He's now placed T40-MC in his first two starts of the 2026 campaign, but Spaun will tee it up again this week at the WM Phoenix Open.

Impact Spaun was one of the betting favorites this week, but didn't really live up to it. He had a poor week with the putter, losing nearly 2.9 strokes to the field on the greens, which was 66th in the field. Spaun also lost strokes on approach, which is certainly surprising. He will hope to shake it off in his next start, but it won't be at The American Express next week.
