Cannot overcome Thursday 76 Keefer missed the cut by three strokes at the 3M Open following a five-under 66 second round.
Impact Keefer was a longshot to make the cut following a five-over 76 score Thursday, when he carded two double bogeys, four bogeys, one birdie and an eagle. He was much better in Friday's round, which included a five-under back nine, but it was simply not enough for him to qualify for the weekend. It's been an up-and-down season for Keefer, who has finished outside the top-30 in six of his last seven tournaments, yet his T3 at the Genesis Scottish Open was tied for his best performance of the year and earned him a spot at last week's Open Championship (T59). He'll tee off at the Rocket Classic next week for the first time in his PGA Tour career.

Qualifies for The Open Keefer posted a 13-under cumulative score at the Genesis Scottish Open to finish in a four-way share for third.
Impact Keefer entered the week looking to bounce back from his MC at the John Deere Classic. He made his biggest surge up the leaderboard with a six-under 64 in the third round, and his three-under 67 score Sunday was enough for him to earn his second top-3 finish of the season. More importantly, Keefer's performance in Scotland earned him a spot in next week's Open Championship, which will be the 25-year-old American's first career start at golf's oldest major. Keefer's three bogeys were tied for the fewest amount at the Scottish Open, where he also ranked fifth in GIR, seventh in SG: Approach, T12 in driving accuracy, 14th in SG: Off-the-Tee and 24th in both SG: Around and Putting.

Barely misses cut at John Deere Keefer missed the cut at the John Deere Classic by two strokes after posting scores of 71-69.
Impact Keefer opened the tournament with an even-par 71 but was on track to make the three-under cut line after going three-under through his first 12 holes of the second round. However, he bogeyed the par-4 14th and was unable to gain the stroke he needed over the final five holes despite having birdie putts on each of them, including one from just over 15 feet on the sixth. Keefer's struggles came in his short game, as he lost 1.91 strokes around-the-green over his two rounds, which was ranked 138th out of the 144-man field. It was his first missed cut since the Zurich Classic of New Orleans in April and seventh MC in 19 tournaments this season. Keefer is in the field for next week's Genesis Scottish Open, which will be his debut at the event and perhaps his last opportunity to earn an exemption to The Open.
JULY 4 • ROTOWIRE
Second in SG: T2G at TPC Toronto Keefer closed with a one-under 69 on Sunday at the RBC Canadian Open to finish four-under and tied for 51st.
Impact Keefer ranked second among the field in SG: Tee-to-Green and third in SG: Off-the-Tee, but he lost a career-worst 7.87 strokes with the putter at TPC Toronto, making just 56 feet of putts per round in the process. Nonetheless, he's now made the cut in five consecutive starts, rising to 81st in the FedExCup standings ahead of his second career U.S. Open appearance.

Jumps into top-10 at Craig Ranch Keefer fired an eight-under 63 in the final round of THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson to finish tied for ninth with a 19-under cumulative score.
Impact It was a birdie-fest at TPC Craig Ranch, so Keefer didn't have a chance at capturing his first PGA Tour victory after going 11-under through the first three rounds, though his performance Sunday was enough for him to jump 20 spots up the leaderboard. He finished the tournament fifth in SG: Approach, sixth in driving distance, T14 in GIR, 17th in SG: Off-the-Tee and 20th in SG: Putting, though he lost 3.18 strokes around the green (69th). It was a much-needed confidence boost for Keefer, who finished T69 or worse in five of six tournaments prior to THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson (including three missed cuts). It was the second top-10 finish of the season for the young American and his best performance since his T3 at the Texas Children's Houston Open. He's listed in the field for next week's Charles Schwab Challenge, which will be his debut at the event.
MAY 24 • ROTOWIRE
Places 79th at Aronimink Keefer carded a six-over 76 on Sunday at the PGA Championship to finish nine-over and alone in 79th place.
Impact Keefer opened his final round at Aronimink with a birdie on the par-4 first hole, but he failed to record another par-breaker thereafter while losing 2.82 strokes with the putter Sunday. He also finished the major championship ranked just 78th of 82 in SG: Approach, despite hitting 50 total greens in regulation. Keefer sinks four spots to No. 86 in the FedExCup standings, but he'll be in the field again this week for his CJ Cup Byron Nelson debut at TPC Craig Ranch.

Collin Morikawa's ailing back is feeling better, body still in a state of flux ahead of the Masters

MC at Valero Texas Open Keefer posted a three-over cumulative score at the Valero Texas Open and missed the cut by five strokes.
Impact Keefer put himself on the back foot with with a four-over 76 opening round that included four-straight bogeys from holes nine to 12 and a double bogey on the 18th. The 25-year-old American has missed the cut in four of his last five PGA Tour events, with the exception being his T3 at the Texas Children's Houston Open last week. That's not the kind of momentum you want heading into The Masters next week, which will be Keefer's debut appearance at Augusta National.
APRIL 6 • ROTOWIRE
Share of third at Texas Children's Keefer fired a six-under 64 in the final round of the Texas Children's Houston Open to finish with a 15-under cumulative score and tied with Min Woo Lee for third.
Impact This week was Keefer's first appearance at Memorial Park, but the 25-year-old American expertly navigated the course. That was especially the case over the weekend, when he went 10-under over the final two days and finished the final round strongly with four birdies over the last six holes, which was enough for him to earn the first top-3 PGA Tour finish of his career. Keefer led the field in both GIR (81.9 percent) and scrambling (84.6 percent) while ranking third in SG: Approach, fifth in SG: Off-the-Tee and in the top-15 in SG: Around-the-Green, driving distance and birdies made, though he was let down somewhat by his play on the green (52nd in SG: Putting). It was an encouraging performance from Keefer, who entered the week having missed the cut in each of his three prior Tour outings. He's currently listed in the field for the Valero Texas Open, which would serve as a tune-up for The Masters in two weeks.
MARCH 29 • ROTOWIRE
Third in SG: OTT at FIO Keefer closed with a two-under 70 on Sunday at the Farmers Insurance Open to finish six-under and tied for 43rd.
Impact Keefer is a perfect 3-for-3 in cuts made to begin his rookie campaign on the PGA Tour, but his short game remains a concern as he lost another 2.34 collective strokes on and around the greens over three measured rounds at Torrey Pines' South Course. However, he ranked third among the field in SG: Off-the-Tee and fourth in Par-5: Birdie or Better Percentage, providing upside as a cost-friendly DFS value. Keefer now heads to TPC Scottsdale for his WM Phoenix Open debut.
FEBRUARY 2 • ROTOWIRE
T61 in first start of 2026 Keefer carded a one-under 69 in the final round of the Sony Open in Hawaii to finish in a tie for 61st place.
Impact There was a lot of hype surrounding Keefer going into 2026 after a sensational year on the Korn Ferry Tour. Keefer probably expected better than T61, but there was positives to take out of the week. He ranked top-20 in SG: Off-the-Tee, SG: Approach and GIR's. That said, Keefer needs to be better than 73rd in SG: Around-the-Green and 69th in SG: Putting. He will look to do better at The American Express.

T13 in PGA Tour debut Keefer recorded an even-par 72 on Sunday at the Procore Championship to finish in a share of 13th place.
Impact Keefer made a nice impression in his PGA Tour debut, posting four rounds of even par or better to narrowly miss out on a top-10. He stood out with his iron play, hitting 79 percent of greens and ranking sixth in SG: Approach for the week. The 23-year-old and recent Baylor graduate has posted eight top-10s across 10 starts on the PGA Tour Americas this summer.
