Terrific ball striking leads to T9 finish Dahmen closed with a one-under 70 in the final round of the Cognizant Classic to finish in a tie for ninth place.

Impact Dahmen had a very steady round on Sunday carding just one birdie on the par-4 11th to 17 pars. Dahmen's ball striking this week was very impressive as he ranked fourth in SG: Off-the-Tee, sixth in SG: Approach, T2 in driving accuracy and T2 in GIR's. He just didn't make enough putts to be there contending for the win. The good news is that this top-10 finish will get him into the Arnold Palmer Invitational next week and so he won't have to play the Puerto Rico Open. Dahmen has played Bay Hill four times previously and has a T5 in 2020 with three missed cuts.

Strong T7 showing at Torrey Dahmen finished in a share of seventh place after shooting a one-over 73 in the final round of the Farmers Insurance Open.

Impact Dahmen notched his best finish since the Corales Puntacana Championship last April when he was T2. This was his second straight top-10 finish at Torrey Pines as well. Dahmen didn't have his best stuff on Sunday, but he was able to grind it out and birdie the final hole to secure the top-10 finish. Dahmen is playing off conditional status this season, so this type of result early in the year will be big for him. He will tee it up again next week at the WM Phoenix Open.

Impact Patton Kizzire (undisclosed) withdrew from the Farmers Insurance Open, and Dahmen will take the former's place. The latter began his 2026 by scoring 16-under par in the American Express.

Missed Opportunity Dahmen finished in a tie for 15th after carding a two-under 68 in the final round of the Wyndham Championship.

Impact Coming into the Wyndham Championship, Dahmen ranked 101 in the FedEx Cup standings, far outside of the top-70 cut line to make the playoffs. Needing a win to make the playoffs, Dahmen quickly got off to a hot start with a tournament low nine-under 61 and a one shot lead. He then followed it up with another solid three-under 67 in the second round to go into the week in a tie for second and just a few shots off the lead. However, following a third round three-over 73, which saw Dahmen lose over three shots on the field in SG: Tee-to-Green, his chances to win the Wyndham Championship and backdoor his way into the playoffs was quickly declining. Following his T15 finish this week, Dahmen finished in 93rd place in the FedEx Cup standings and will need to perform well during the fall season to keep his PGA Tour card.
