Impact Stanger dropped to 135th in the FedExCup standings after missing the cut in Detroit last week, but he'll make his Wyndham Championship debut this week following Garrick Higgo's (undisclosed) early WD.

Impact Stanger gets into the field after Taylor Moore withdrew prior to his 1:38 PM EST first round tee time off No.1. Stanger last played at the 3M Open where he finished T51. His lone top-25 finish this season was a T4 at the RBC Canadian Open.

Impact Stanger racked up 19 total birdies while ranking top-25 among the field in both SG: Off-the-Tee and SG: Putting throughout his week in Minnesota, but he also converted just eight of 17 scrambling opportunities en route to nine bogeys and a double. Nevertheless, it's Stanger's first made cut since his T4 at the RBC Canadian Open, though he dropped one spot to No. 134 in the FedExCup standings. Impact The cut line was set at three-under, so Stanger had his work cut out for him after opening the tournament with a one-over 72 on Thursday. Struggles with Sunday 76 Stanger recorded a final round five-over 76 at the Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches to finish tied for 32nd place.

Impact Stanger began the day just two shots off the lead but failed to get much going with a pair of birdies and bogeys through 14 holes. He struggled mightily on 'The Bear Trap' with two bogeys and a triple bogey to tumble down the leaderboard. Stanger lost over two shots on approach and putting in the final round. It's his first made cut on the PGA Tour since last April.
