Impact Holmes shot rounds of 70-65 to post nine-under-par in his qualifier in Westerville, OH. There were only four spots available from the site and a playoff was needed to cut one. Holmes had a poor drive on the first playoff hole, but ended up making a great par to secure his spot at the U.S. Open. This will be the first major that Holmes has played in since the 2019 Open Championship where he infamously shot a 16-over 87 in the final round after entering the day in solo third. Holmes has played in just one OWGR sanctioned event since the start of 2025. That is the beauty of U.S. Open qualifying, however, any player can make it in if they shoot the scores at the right time.
