Fifth in SG: APP in Utah Buckley closed with a two-under 69 on Sunday at the Bank of Utah Championship to finish 11-under and tied for 27th.

Impact Buckley hit all but one fairway in regulation and he gained 2.4 strokes on approach during Sunday's final round at the Black Desert Resort, where he ultimately finished fifth among the field in SG: APP and T7 in driving accuracy for the week. He's now made the cut in back-to-back starts, but Buckley lands just 170th in the FedExCup Fall standings.

Listed in Mexico Open field Buckley (undisclosed) is listed in the field for this week's Mexico Open at VidantaWorld.

Impact Buckley withdrew during his most recent outing at the Farmers Insurance Open in late January, but he's slated to tee it up this week at VidantaWorld where he tied for 61st in his only other Mexico Open appearance back in 2022.

Impact Buckley was a long way off making the cut and decided to call it quits. The hope is this is not injury related. Buckley did not qualify for the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, but will possibly be able to get into the WM Phoenix Open the following week.

Just misses out on first PGA Tour win Buckley had to settle for second place after shooting a two-under 68 in the final round of the Sony Open in Hawaii.

Impact After a closing eagle in the third round, Buckley took a two-shot lead into the final round as he was seeking his first career PGA Tour victory. Buckley came right out and birdied the opening hole on Sunday, but after that just struggled to get anything going. Buckley was able to spark his round with birdies at 12 and 14 following a bogey at 11. Unfortunately a short miss on 15 would put him into a tie with Si Woo Kim. Buckley bounced back with a strong birdie putt at 16 just moments before Kim chipped in on 17. It came down to 18 where Buckley was not able to get up-and-down for birdie to match the four that Kim had made in the previous group. Buckley finished the week top-six in SG: Off-the-Tee, SG: Tee-to-Green, driving accuracy, and GIR percentage. The second-year player has a lot of upside due to that very impressive ball-striking. Buckley is not listed in the field for next week's American Express.
