Sunk by poor opening round Woodland posted a nine-over cumulative score at The Open Championship to miss the cut by eight strokes.

Impact Woodland had little chance of making the cut after his eight-over 78 opening round that included four double bogeys, with two coming on each of his last two holes. He finished outside the top-100 in all SG categories, including 149th in Tee-to-Green and 154th in Around-the-Green. Woodland will end the major season with missed cuts at The Open and PGA Championship, along with a T7 at the U.S. Open and a T33 at The Masters. He's listed in the field for the 3M Open, where he finished T11 in 2021 and MC-T37-T20 from 2023 to 2025.

Career-worst SG: Putting at Travelers Woodland carded a two-over 72 on Sunday at the Travelers Championship to finish five-over and alone in 71st place.

Impact Woodland ranked last among the 72-man field in putts per GIR en route to just eight total birdies throughout his week at TPC River Highlands, ultimately posting the worst SG: Putting performance of his career in the process. Nonetheless, he paced the Signature Event in percentage of 320-plus yard drives, and he ranked seventh in par-5 scoring average. Woodland remains top-25 in the FedExCup standings, but he won't be in attendance for this week's John Deere Classic.

Gets back on track in majors Woodland finished in a share of seventh place at the U.S. Open following a two-under 68 in the final round.

Impact Woodland's strong final round included just one bogey. The 2019 U.S. Open champion was top 20 for the week in SG: Approach, SG: Putting, driving distance and GIR's. He did struggle around the greens, which is why he wasn't challenging for victory on Sunday. Woodland has been through a lot in recent years, but it's great to see his game be strong at age 42. He now has four top-10s and six top-20s in his last 10 starts, including that win at the Houston Open. This was also Woodland's last top 10 at a major since he was T10 back at the 2022 U.S. Open. He will be in the field at the Travelers Championship.

Leads in SG: Off-the-tee in Ohio Woodland posted a two-under 70 in the final round of the Memorial Tournament to finish tied for 36th place.

Impact Woodland closed with his best round of the tournament which was highlighted by six birdies to go along with four bogeys. His driving play was in excellent form as he led the field in SG: Off-the-tee, but he uncharacteristically ranked dead last in SG: Approach of those that made the cut. Woodland is not in the field for next week's RBC Canadian Open as he prepares for the U.S. Open, scheduled for Jun. 18-21.

Impact Woodland won earlier this season in Texas at the Houston Open and put together another strong showing this week in Fort Worth. The putter was excellent gaining over seven strokes to the field on the greens, the third-most in the field this week. Woodland's 20 birdies were tied for the most in the field this week, but he also made 10 bogeys. He was just 56th in SG: Approach and 47th in SG: Around-the-Green, two areas he will hope to clean up next week at the Memorial Tournament.

MC at PGA Championship Woodland posted a six-over cumulative score at the PGA Championship to miss the cut by two strokes.

Impact Woodland's back-to-back bogeys at the end of the first round ended his day with a two-over 72. Any hopes of making it to the weekend were diminished after Woodland went five-over through the first 11 holes of the second round and concluded his day with a four-over 74 score. He lost 2.03 strokes with his putter and lost another 1.29 strokes around the green while converting on just three of 10 scrambling opportunities. Woodland's streak of top-40 finishes ended at six tournaments, and he's missed the cut in three of his last four outings at the PGA Championship. He's not listed in the field for next week's Byron Nelson.

Fifth in SG: Approach in Charlotte Woodland fired a two-under par 69 Sunday in the final round of the Truist Championship to finish in a tie for 17th.

Impact Woodland began his Truist Championship with an even-par 71 on Thursday and a one-under 70 on Friday. While he was able to collect nine birdies in the first two rounds, he also made six bogeys and a double. On the weekend, Woodland cleaned up his scorecard making a few more birdies and avoiding any double bogeys or worse. For the week, Woodland was tied for the fifth most birdies in the field with 19. His ability to score on a difficult and long Quail Hollow was due to his terrific play off the tee and with sharp approach shots into the greens. In fact, Woodland ranked sixth in SG: Off the Tee and fifth in SG: Approach gaining over eight strokes on the field for the week. As Woodland travels to Philadelphia for the PGA Championship next week, if he can continue driving the ball well and set himself up with accurate iron play, Woodland could in the mix once again.

T38 at Cadillac Championship Woodland carded a two-under 70 on Sunday at the Cadillac Championship to finish four-under and tied for 38th.

Impact Woodland averaged four par-breakers per round throughout his week on the Blue Monster Course at Trump National Doral, though he hit just 26 of 56 fairways in regulation en route to nine total bogeys and a pair of doubles across 72 holes in Miami. Nonetheless, he's now gained strokes with the putter in five consecutive outings, and Woodland still ranks top-15 on Tour in SG: Off-the-Tee this season. He'll peg it again this week at Quail Hollow Club for the Truist Championship.

Impact Woodland opened the tournament strongly with a bogey-free, six-under 65 in the first round and moved up the leaderboard Saturday after a five-under 66 score. He struggled in the windy weather conditions during the final round and was three-over heading into the last hole, but his second shot found the cup for eagle, which was enough for him to sneak into the top-10. Woodland ranked fifth in the field in SG: Approach, gaining 4.68 strokes in that category, while also finishing T8 in GIR, 11th in driving distance and top-30 in both SG: Off-the-Tee and SG: Putting. After finishing T64 or worse in four of the first six tournaments of the 2026 season (including four missed cuts), Woodland has three top-15 performances over his last four outings, including his victory at the Texas Children's Houston Open in what was his first win since the U.S. Open Championship in 2019. He's not in the field for the Zurich Classic but should tee off the following week at the Cadillac Championship, the latter of which is the second of three Signature Events sandwiched between The Masters and the PGA Championship.
