Collapses with Sunday 77
Woodland posted a seven-over 77 in the final round of the TOUR Championship to finish 29th.
Impact
Woodland opened the tournament nicely with a four-under 66 first round but saw his score steadily decrease over the course of the event. He was even-par through 12 holes Sunday but fell apart completely with double bogeys on the 13th and 16th holes, followed by a triple bogey on the par-4 17th. It wasn't the finish Woodland was looking for after a T4 finish at last week's BMW Championship to qualify for the final FedExCup Playoff event. Still, the 2026 season was a good one for Woodland, who had one of the feel-good stories of the year highlighted by his victory at Texas Children's Houston Open in late March. He finished the season 29th in the FedExCup Standings with six top-10s, ranking eighth in SG: Off-the-Tee and eighth in total driving (including ninth in driving distance).

Qualifies for TOUR Championship
Woodland registered a 12-under cumulative score at the BMW Championship to finish tied with Collin Morikawa and Chris Gotterup for fourth.
Impact
Woodland entered St. Louis 31st in the FedExCup Standings, with only the top-30 qualifying for the TOUR Championship and a spot in all four majors in 2027. Woodland set the tone early with a six-under 64 opening round and followed that up with a five-under 65 score Friday. He lost steam Saturday with an even-par 70, but he put himself in striking distance of Wyndham Clark after going three-under through the first five holes of the final round. Unfortunately for Woodland, he proceeded to score bogey-birdie-double bogey from holes seven to nine, and he was unable to make one last surge up the leaderboard after carding pars on the whole back nine. Still, the top-5 finish was enough for him to move up to 18th in the FedExCup Standings, so he'll tee off at the TOUR Championship next week for the first time since 2019. Woodland finished the BMW Championship fourth in SG: Approach, sixth in both driving distance and accuracy and 13th in both SG: Off-the-Tee and Around.

Falls out of top-30 in FEC standings
Woodland carded a four-over 74 on Sunday at the FedEx St. Jude Championship to finish one-over and tied for 42nd.
Impact
Woodland found himself in a tie for sixth after commencing his week in Memphis with a four-under 66 on Thursday, but he failed to break par in any of his remaining three rounds thereafter, and he ultimately ranked just 52nd among the field in SG: Approach and T43 in GIR percentage for the week. The T42 result caused Woodland to drop from 27th to 31st in the FedExCup standings, but he'll be in attendance again this week for the BMW Championship at Bellerive Country Club where he tied for sixth during the 2018 PGA Championship.

Share of 10th at 3M Open
Woodland carded a six-under 65 in the final round of the 3M Open to finish tied with Seamus Power and Michael Kim for 10th.
Impact
Woodland shot seven- and six-under in his first and final rounds at TPC Twin Cities, though he gained just four strokes between the second and third rounds. His two bogeys were tied for the least amount in the field, and he also ranked T3 in driving accuracy, eighth in driving distance, 11th in SG: Off-the-Tee, T14 in GIR, T15 in scrambling and in the top-25 in both SG: Approach and Putting. It was Woodland's third top-10 over his last six tournaments and a nice bounce-back from his MC at The Open Championship last week. He's not in the field for the Rocket Classic next week.
