Struggles with final round 75 Lingmerth recorded a four-over 75 in the final round of the Valspar Championship to finish tied for 27th place.

Impact Lingmerth started the day in the top-10 and four back of the lead but was unable to get any momentum going with just one birdie, three bogeys and a double bogey to tumble down the leaderboard. He did have a good week with his iron play, ranking 17th in strokes-gained approach but struggled on the greens where he lost 1.5 strokes putting. Lingmerth has now made five cuts in a row with a pair of top-10s over that stretch.

Adds fourth top-10 of season Lingmerth closed with an even-par 72 on Sunday at THE PLAYERS Championship to finish eight-under and tied for sixth.

Impact Lingmerth ranked eighth or better among the field in both SG: Approach and SG: Putting at TPC Sawgrass, which guided him to his fourth top-10 result of the 2022-23 season. He jumps from 66th to No. 52 in the FedExCup standings, and Lingmerth plans to peg it again this week at the Valspar Championship where he's a perfect 4-for-4 in cuts made.

Picks up top-10 finish at Honda Classic Lingmerth finished in a share of 10th place after shooting a three-under 67 in the final round of the Honda Classic.

Impact Lingmerth started the final round hot with birdies on three of the first four holes. Unfortunately he couldn't turn it into a really special round with just one birdie against one bogey coming home the final 14 holes. Lingmerth was dead last of all those who made the cut in driving distance this week, but ranked seventh in SG: Approach and first in SG: Around-the-Green. The Swede is listed in the field for the Arnold Palmer Invitational.

Impact Lingmerth was originally bumped to the first alternate after Branden Grace joined the 3M Open field as a late entrant, but Lingmerth has now earned an entry of his own following the withdrawal of a handful of names. He posted back-to-back 82s in Rounds 1 and 2 at the Memorial Tournament to finish dead last and miss the cut by a mile this past week, so recent form is definitely a concern for the Swede.
