Impact Phillips was given a spot in the field for this week's Genesis Scottish Open after Michael Hollick withdrew Monday, but Phillips has instead elected to tee it up stateside at the ISCO Championship where he missed the cut last year.

Impact Phillips originally planned to play in the ISCO Championship after his T15 at this past week's John Deere Classic, but he's slated to join the Genesis Scottish Open field following Michael Hollick's early WD.

Impact Phillips paced the field in SG: Around-the-Green throughout his week at TPC Deere Run, converting 16 of 21 scrambling opportunities en route to just six total bogeys across 72 holes. However, he ranked outside of the top-50 in each of SG: Off-the-Tee, SG: Approach and GIR percentage. Nonetheless, he improves eight spots to No. 106 in the FedExCup standings with his fourth top-25 result of the season, and he'll peg it again this week at the ISCO Championship.

Sixth in SG: Putting at RBC Canadian Open Phillips fired a four-under 66 on Sunday at the RBC Canadian Open to finish 10-under and tied for 15th.

Impact Phillips gained 3.8 strokes with the flat stick and he ranked second among the field in putts per GIR en route to eight birdies during Sunday's final round at TPC Toronto. However, Phillips finished the week just 61st in SG: Approach and he converted only nine of 19 scrambling opportunities. Nonetheless, a T15 result was a solid rebound from three consecutive missed cuts, and Phillips now looks ahead to his U.S. Open debut at Shinnecock Hills.

Notches first top-10 of season Phillips closed with a one-under 71 on Sunday at the Valero Texas Open to finish 13-under and tied for eighth.

Impact Phillips' final round at TPC San Antonio was highlighted by an eagle on the par-4 17th hole, where he stuck a 302-yard drive to four feet before sinking the short putt for his deuce. He ultimately finished the event ranked No. 1 among the field in both SG: Putting and putts per GIR, though he hit just 38 of 72 total greens in regulation. The T8 result is Phillips' first top-10 finish of the season, and it ascends him from 126th to 96th in the FedExCup standings.
