MC at John Deere Classic Young missed the cut at the John Deere Classic after posting a two-under 69 in the second round.

Impact Young opened the tournament with a three-over 74 score Thursday, and was unable to do enough Friday to make the three-under cut line. He was one of the better drivers in the field over the first two days of the tournament, connecting on 21 of 28 fairways. However, he struggled with his putter and lost 2.26 strokes on the green in the opening round. Young has missed the cut in back-to-back PGA Tour events and three times in eight outings this season. He'll tee off next week at The Blue Championship on the Korn Ferry Tour, where he sits 21st on the Points List and outside the top-20 that would earn him a PGA Tour membership for 2027.

Share of 13th at Memorial Health Young finished tied for 13th at the Memorial Health Championship on the Korn Ferry Tour after posting a 19-under cumulative score.

Impact Young raced out to the top of the leaderboard with a 10-under 61 score in the opening round, which included seven-straight birdies on the back nine. He was unable to carry that momentum over the next three days, gaining just eight strokes over that span, but he still came away with his fifth top-15 finish on the Korn Ferry Tour this season. Young currently sits 21st on the Korn Ferry Tour points list, but only the top-20 at the end of the season earn a PGA Tour membership for 2027. The KFT will take a one-week break, but Young will be on the PGA Tour next week at the John Deere Classic, where he's finished T5 in both 2024 and 2025.

Impact Young got steadily better as the tournament progressed, capped off by a strong final round to jump into the top-3. Young sits 15th in the Korn Ferry Tour standings with 192.85 points, having made the cut in two of three outings.

T6 in Mexico Young shot a four-under 68 on Sunday at the World Wide Technology Championship to finish in a share of sixth place.

Impact Young began the final round one shot back of the lead, and he got off to a good start with three birdies in the first six holes to tie the lead. However, he cooled off on the back-nine with only two birdies and a pair of bogeys to fall out of contention. Young's 33 birdies was the most of anyone in the field, and he also ranked first in putts per GIR. He still has work to do to keep his card as he sits 124th in the points list.

Surges to top-5 at JDC Young fired a seven-under 64 in the final round of the John Deere Classic to collect a share of fifth place.

Impact Young's 64 on Sunday moved him up 16 positions from where he began the round. He did most of his work early with birdies on five of the first six holes. Young did go bogey-free, but only added two birdies at 14 and 17 coming in. On this bunched leaderboard two more birdies would have put him in a playoff. Nevertheless, this is still Young's best finish of the season. He was 16th in SG: Approach and 15th in SG: Putting at the JDC and will hope to carry that into the ISCO Championship.
