Struggles with putter at Sedgefield Koepka posted a three-under cumulative score at the Wyndham Championship to finish tied for 68th.

Impact Koepka entered the week 86th in the FedExCup Standings with an outside shot of qualifying for next week's playoff opener at the St. Jude Championship. The five-time major champion was seven-under through his first two rounds but fell apart Saturday with a four-over 74, when he lost 3.24 strokes with his putter (78th out of the 81 players who made the cut) and lost another 1.88 strokes in his approach play. Koepka expressed disappointment in his play on the PGA Tour following his final round at Sedgefield Country Club, with the 36-year-old finishing the regular season with 11 made cuts in 16 events, with six top-25 finishes and only one top-10 (T9 at the Cognizant Classic). Per Ron Mintz of NutsandBoltsSports.com, Koepka will participate in a couple of tournaments in Europe on the DP World Tour before returning to the United States in the fall.

Impact Koepka withdrew prior to last week's Rocket Classic due to personal reasons, and he still hasn't teed it up since a T28 at The Open Championship, but he's hopeful to peg it this week at Sedgefield Country Club where he tied for sixth back in 2015.

Impact No reason was given for the WD, but something has to be up with Koepka. The 5-time major champion sits 84th in the FedExCup standings and will need an excellent showing at next week's Wyndham Championship if he is going to be apart of the FedExCup Playoffs this year. Koepka also appears likely to miss out on being locked in for all the Signature Events next season, just as he was this season. Ben Silverman will take his spot in the field this week in Detroit.

Doesn't make weekend in Scotland Koepka registered a 66-74 scorecard through the first two rounds of the Genesis Scottish Open to miss the cut by two strokes.

Impact Koepka opened the tournament with back-to-back bogeys through the first two holes but rebounded to go six-under over his last 16 holes, including five birdies over the last 10. He was one of the early contenders heading into Friday and was one stroke over the two-under cut line through 13 holes, but he proceeded to card a double bogey on the par-4 14th and was unable to recover over his last four holes. Koepka ranked 143rd out of the 156th man field in SG: Putting for the second round, losing 2.46 strokes in that category, while connecting on only four of 13 fairways (T147). Koepka has missed the cut in each of his last two outings, and his recent performances could be partially due to a hand injury that forced him to withdraw before the final round of the Canadian Open in mid-June. That will be something to monitor as Koepka prepares for The Open Championship next week, his 12th appearance in that major. He missed the cut at Royal Portrush last year but finished T6 in 2017 at Royal Birkdale, the venue for this year's Open Championship.
