Impact Garnett opened the tournament with a one-over 72 on Thursday, and he was unable to make the three-under cut line despite a better score Friday. He gained 2.18 strokes with his irons, but he also lost 1.91 strokes and 1.14 strokes on the green and off the tee, respectively. It was the eighth time Garnett missed the cut in 15 tournaments this year, though he has finished T22 or better in three of his last five outings, including a season-best T4 at the RBC Canadian two weeks ago. He's in the field for the ISCO Championship next week, where he's missed the cut in four of seven prior outings (including last year).
