Impact Todd is expected to make his first PGA Tour start since a missed cut at the Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches, but he's coming off a T65 at last week's Club Car Championship on the Korn Ferry Tour. The 40-year-old has 21 starts remaining on his Major Medical Extension.

Impact Todd has played just twice in 2026 and they both were Korn Ferry Tour events in the Bahamas. He's not going to get into many PGA Tour fields, so it is odd he decided to pass on it. Troy Merritt will take his spot in the field.

Impact Todd has been sidelined since a missed cut at the Cognizant Classic in early March due to an undisclosed reason, but he's expected to make his return this week at Sea Island. Todd has made the cut in seven of 11 career RSM Classic appearances, most notably placing fourth here back in 2019 when he paced the field in both total FIR and par-4 scoring.

Impact Todd ranked dead last among those who made the cut in GIR percentage at Port Royal, but he managed to convert 22 of 31 scrambling opportunities to ultimately finish T6 in total pars. He's now placed T44 or worse in all four of his starts throughout the FedExCup Fall, though he remains top-75 in the standings at No. 72. Todd will peg it again this week at The RSM Classic where he's a career 7-for-10 in cuts made, highlighted by a solo-fourth at Sea Island in 2019.
