Takes spot at PGA National Silverman has been added to the field at this week's Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches, PGA Tour Communications reports.

Impact Silverman gets in late after Will Zalatoris was forced to withdraw prior to his round one tee time. Silverman has not played in a PGA Tour event this year, but has played four times on the Korn Ferry Tour, most recently a 71st place finish at the Astara Golf Championship.

Notches best finish of season Silverman finished in a tie for third place at the Bank of Utah Championship following his four-under 67 in the final round.

Impact Silverman has had a tough season, so this result was much-needed. The Canadian ranked fifth in SG: Putting and 12th in SG: Off-the-Tee for the week. He moves from 165th to 142nd in the FedExCup Fall standings. There's still a lot of work to do if he is going to maintain full playing status in 2026, but if he can get inside the top-125 after these last three fall events he will at least have conditional status on the PGA Tour next year.

Rare putting struggles at ZOZO Silverman carded a one-over 71 on Sunday at the ZOZO Championship to finish four-under and tied for 46th.

Impact Silverman played his final two holes of the tournament in three-under-par, thanks in part to an eagle on the par-5 18th where he made a 28-footer from just off the green. One of the best putters on the PGA Tour, Silverman actually lost strokes with the flat stick throughout his week in Japan, marking his first negative SG: Putting performance since THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson in early May. As a result of his T46 finish, the Canadian dropped four spots to No. 106 in the FedExCup Fall standings.

Fills it up on the greens in Napa Silverman closed with a one-under 71 on Sunday to finish in a share of fourth place at the Procore Championship.

Impact Silverman ranked second to winner Patton Kizzire in SG: Putting for the week in Napa. It helped make up for the fact that he lost strokes on approach. The Canadian had six previous top-25s in 2024, but this T4 was his first finish better than a T13 all season. Silverman is looking good to secure his card again for 2025 and will hope to close out 2024 with a strong fall.

Impact Silverman finished the competition with nine birdies which was tied 79th best. He registered 12 bogeys and a couple of double bogeys as well. Silverman will not take part in the upcoming Masters Tournament.
