Fails to qualify for TOUR Championship Griffin carded a two-over 72 in the final round of the BMW Championship to finish tied with Bud Cauley and Alex Fitzpatrick for 44th.

Impact Griffin entered the week 38th in the FedExCup Standings and needed a big finish to jump into the top-30 to qualify for the TOUR Championship. He posted a two-under 68 score Thursday and Saturday, but that work was outdone by his three-over 73 second round and his performance Sunday. Griffin ranked in the top half of the field in SG: OTT, Approach and Around, as well as T15 in driving accuracy. However, he struggled with his putter, and his 7.94 strokes lost on the green was dead last in St. Louis. While he won't tee off next week in Atlanta, Griffin's spot in the top-50 of the Standings guarantees his spot in all Signature Events in 2027. His next chance to play on the PGA Tour is at the Biltmore Championship Asheville on Sept. 17.

Ties for 42nd in Memphis Griffin carded a two-under 68 on Sunday at the FedEx St. Jude Championship to finish one-over and tied for 42nd.

Impact Griffin ranked 14th among the field in SG: Approach despite hitting only 35 of 72 total greens in regulation at TPC Southwind, but he also lost a collective 4.45 strokes with his short game in Memphis. Griffin has now placed T42-MC-MC-T59 in his last four starts dating back to The Open Championship, sinking to 38th in the FedExCup standings ahead of his second career BMW Championship appearance.

MC at Greensboro Griffin missed the cut at the Wyndham Championship by one stroke following a one-under 69 second round.

Impact Griffin was sitting at two-under with seven holes to play but was unable to gain the stroke he needed to qualify for the weekend at Sedgefield Country Club. He entered the week 20th in SG: Putting, but his play on the green turned out to be his downfall this time around, as he lost 1.19 strokes in that category across his two rounds. Griffin will end the 2026 regular season having missed the cut in back-to-back events and six times in 23 tournaments. He entered the week 36th in the FedExCup Standings and will be in the field next week for the St. Jude Championship for the start of the playoffs.

Misses cut at Detroit Golf Club Griffin posted a two-under cumulative score at the Rocket Classic to miss the cut by one stroke.

Impact The cut line was hovering at two-under for portions of Friday's round before settling at three-under. Unfortunately for Griffin, he was unable to gain the one stroke he needed to qualify for the weekend, finishing Friday's round with one birdie, one bogey and 16 pars for an even-par 70 score. He connected on only 13 of 28 fairways (46.4 percent) while losing 2.43 strokes off the tee, outdoing the work he did with his irons (1.11 strokes gained on approach, 80.6 percent GIR). It was Griffin's fifth missed cut across 22 tournaments this season but only his second in his last 14 outings. He's currently listed in the field for next week's Wyndham Championship, and he's enjoyed some success at Sedgefield Country Club, having finished 4-MC-T7-T11 since 2022.

Cards three eagles at John Deere Griffin finished T21 at the John Deere Classic with a 13-under cumulative score.

Impact Griffin's best round of the tournament was a six-under 65 on Friday, but his two-under 69 in the opening round was marred by a quadruple bogey on the par-4 14th, when his second shot sailed the green and out of bounds. Still, Griffin came away with his ninth top-25 finish of the season, with his three eagles tied for most in the field. He also ranked in 11th in driving distance and in the top-30 in SG: Around and Putting, though he was middle-of-the-pack in driving accuracy, SG: Off-the-Tee and SG: Approach. Griffin's next appearance will be in two weeks at The Open, where he's missed the cut in each of his three previous outings.

T10 at the Travelers Championship Griffin recorded a 16-under cumulative score at the Travelers Championship to finish tied with Robert MacIntyre for 10th.

Impact Griffin opened the tournament with a bogey-free, six-under 64 on Thursday before carding scores of 66-67-67 over the final three days. It was his third top-10 finish of the season, with his previous two being the Cadillac Championship (solo third) and the Charles Schwab Challenge (T3). Griffin finished the tournament in the top-15 in scrambling, GIR, driving accuracy, SG: Putting and SG: Approach, though he also ranked 50th out of 72 players in SG: Off-the-Tee. He's in the field for next week's John Deere Classic, where he finished T5 in his debut at the event in 2024 before missing the cut last year.

MC at Memorial Tournament Griffin missed the cut by two strokes at the Memorial Tournament after posting a 74-77 scorecard.

Impact Griffin opened with a two-over first round, and even though he was three-over through the first 10 holes of the second round, he was on track to make it to the weekend on the five-over cut line. However, the 30-year-old American bogeyed the 16th and 18th to miss the cut the for the fourth time this season and first since the Valspar Championship in March. Griffin connected on just 35.7 percent of fairways through the first two days and lost 3.69 strokes with his putter. He's not listed in the field for the RBC Canadian Open next week, so the next time Griffin tees off will be at the U.S. Open Championship. He finished T10 at last year's major, but this year will be his first time teeing off at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club.

Late surge to T3 in CSC defense Griffin fired a five-under 65 in the final round of the Charles Schwab Challenge to finish tied with Alex Smalley and Mac Meissner for third.

Impact Griffin won the CSC last year, but he had his work cut out for him in the final round as he started the day at six-under. He wasted no time surging up the leaderboard, carding five birdies on the front nine on a day where most of the field struggled to score low. Griffin slowed down with a bogey on the par-5 11th but was just one stroke back of the lead after he made birdie on the 17th. Needing to sink a 50-foot putt for birdie on 18, Griffin's attempt did everything but go in as it lipped out, and he fell one stroke short of defending his title in a playoff against Eric Cole and eventual winner Russell Henley. It was a commendable defense from Griffin, who ended the tournament ranked seventh in both birdies and SG: Around-the-Green, ninth in scrambling and top-20 in both SG: Putting and SG: Off-the-Tee, though he connected on just 26 of 56 fairways, which was T71 out of the 74 players who made the cut. It was his third top-10 finish and second top-5 of the season. Griffin will tee off at the Memorial Tournament next week, where he finished solo second in 2025 after missing the cut in each of his two prior outings.

Limits mistakes for T14 at PGA Griffin recorded a two-under cumulative score at the PGA Championship to finish in a four-way share of 14th.

Impact Like others who made it to the weekend at Aronimink, Griffin benefited from the more accessible pin placements for Saturday's round and posted a three-under 67, the only day in which he went under par. His nine bogeys were tied for fourth-best at the major, and he also ranked 13th in SG: Putting, 19th in SG: Off-the-Tee and top-25 in SG: Around-the-Green, driving accuracy and distance and scrambling, though he finished 73rd out of 82 players in SG: Approach. Griffin is not in the field for THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson next week.

T63 at Truist Championship Griffin posted a one-under 70 in the final round of the Truist Championship to finish tied for 63rd with Sepp Straka.

Impact Griffin opened the event with a two-under 69 before scoring 73-75 over the next two rounds. He was actually one of the better performers on the green at Quail Hollow (fourth in SG: Putting), but he was below average in most other statistical categories, including 69th in SG: Approach, 71st in SG: Around-the-Green and 72nd in GIR. It was a disappointing effort given Griffin's solo third at the Cadillac Championship, and he'll look to bounce back this week at the PGA Championship, where he finished T8 in 2025.

MAY 13 • ROTOWIRE

Solo third at Cadillac Championship Griffin carded a four-under 68 in the final round of the Cadillac Championship to finish solo third and seven strokes back of winner Cameron Young.

Impact Griffin didn't have one round that stood above the rest at Trump National Doral, but he kept his mistakes to a minimum, with his six bogeys being tied for fourth-best in the field. He went eight-under over the final two rounds of the tournament and would have tied Scottie Scheffler for second had Griffin not carded a bogey on the 72nd hole. Griffin ranked in the top-10 in the field at Doral in SG: Putting, SG: Around-the-Green and scrambling, and his solo third was his best finish since his victory at the World Wide Technology Championship in November. He's in the field for the Truist Championship next week, where he finished T46 in 2025.

MAY 3 • ROTOWIRE

No. 1 in SG: ARG at RBC Heritage Griffin closed with a two-under 69 on Sunday at the RBC Heritage to finish seven-under and tied for 33rd.

Impact Griffin racked up four consecutive birdies to begin his back nine Sunday, but thereafter played holes 14-18 in a collective three-over-par to narrowly miss what could've been his first top-25 result since The American Express back in January. Nonetheless, he still paced the Signature Event field in both SG: Around-the-Green and putting percentage from 5-10 feet throughout the week. However, Griffin lost just over five strokes with his irons, ultimately making it the third-worst SG: Approach performance of his career. He'll tee it up again this week at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans where he and playing partner Andrew Novak are defending champions.

APRIL 21 • ROTOWIRE

Ends with whimper at Augusta Griffin carded a six-over 77 during the final round of The Masters to finish tied for 33rd.

Impact Griffin sat just outside the top-10 of the leaderboard heading into the final round and was one-over through 15 holes before falling apart with back-to-back double bogeys on holes 16 and 17. He ranked seventh in the field in scrambling and 13th in SG: Putting but was below average across most major statistical categories, including 45th in SG: Approach. Griffin has made the cut in seven of 10 tournaments this season, but his lone top-20 finish came in mid-January at the Sony Open in Hawaii. He'll look for better results at the RBC Heritage, where he finished T31 in his lone appearance at Harbour Town.

Breaks MC streak in Houston Griffin carded a seven-under cumulative score at the Texas Children's Houston Open to finish tied for 28th.

Impact Griffin missed the cut in each of his last three Tour outings, but he found his form at Memorial Park. His play steadily improved over the course of the tournament, culminating in a three-under 67 score in the final round. Griffin ranked T15 in the field in GIR, 19th in SG: Around-the-Green and 23rd in SG: Approach, though he lost 1.34 strokes with his putter (58th). His next appearance will be April 9 at The Masters, which will be Griffin's first appearance at Augusta National.

MARCH 30 • ROTOWIRE

Misses another cut in Florida Griffin recorded a 36-hole score of two-over-par to miss the cut at last week's Valspar Championship by one shot.

Impact Griffin converted just five of 13 scrambling opportunities while losing 1.35 strokes putting across two rounds at Innisbrook, extending his missed cut streak to three events dating back to the Arnold Palmer Invitational. He'll look to rebound this week at the Texas Children's Houston Open where he tied for 18th last year, ranking fourth among that field in SG: Approach in the process.

Another MC at Signature Event Griffin missed the cut at THE PLAYERS Championship by two strokes with a four-over cumulative score.

Impact Griffin ended his opening round nicely with a four-under back nine that included three-straight birdies from holes 14 to 16. The story was the opposite in the second round Friday with a six-over 78 score, with his triple bogey on the penultimate hole of the day, the par-3 eighth, ultimately being his downfall. Griffin has missed the cut in each of his last two Tour outings after making the cut in each of his five prior tournaments (though he didn't finish better than T19 in that stretch). He'll look for better results next week at the Valspar Championship, where he's finished T45-T17-MC in his three outings since 2023.

Impact Griffin backed out of last week's Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches after playing in three consecutive events from the WM Phoenix Open through The Genesis Invitational, but he'll return this week at Bay Hill where he's placed T45-T14 in two prior appearances.

Backs out of Cognizant Classic Griffin has withdrawn his name from the field for this week's Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches, Rob Bolton of PGATour.com reports.

Impact Griffin has elected against traveling to PGA National for the Cognizant Classic after tying for 41st this past week at The Genesis Invitational, where he ranked just 44th of 51 in SG: Tee-to-Green. Griffin will be replaced in the Cognizant field by alternate Jackson Suber.

FEBRUARY 23 • ROTOWIRE

T37 at Pebble Beach Griffin carded a two-over 74 on Sunday at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am to finish 11-under and tied for 37th.

Impact Griffin played holes 15-17 in a collective four-over-par during Sunday's final round to free-fall down the leaderboard late, and he ultimately ranked just 57th among the field in SG: Ballstriking for the week. He's now lost strokes off the tee in three consecutive starts for the first time since 2024, but Griffin has yet to finish outside of the top-40 through four outings in 2026. He's listed in the field again this week for The Genesis Invitational where he tied for 37th in 2024.

T28 at WM Open Griffin carded a one-under 70 in the final round of the WM Phoenix Open to finish in a seven-way tie for 28th.

Impact Griffin finished eighth in SG: Around the Green and in the top-30 in driving accuracy, but he ranked near the bottom of the field in birdies made while losing nearly 3.4 strokes off the tee. Griffin has made the cut in each of his three PGA Tour outings this season and has extended that streak to 10 tournaments dating back to July. He'll be in the field for next week's AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, where he made in 2024 and 2025.

FEBRUARY 9 • ROTOWIRE

T24 finish at American Express Griffin fired a two-under par 70 in the final round of the American Express to finish in a share of 24th place.

Impact In looking to put last weeks disappointing weekend finish behind him, Griffin got out to another hot start this week after firing a nine-under 63 in round one. He then followed his magnificent opening round score with two more sub-70 rounds. However, with the amount of low scores being posted by other competitors, Griffin needed to replicate his first round score to have any chance to contending. After going out in even par in his final round, Griffin fell off the pace with the top contenders. Still for the week, Griffin can take a lot of positives with him going into his next tournament. Griffin ranked 12th for the week in SG: Around the Greens this week, and was within the top 20 in driving accuracy for the week. Griffin also has totaled five sub-70 rounds in his first two tournaments of the year, which shows that Griffin will continue to contend this year.

JANUARY 26 • ROTOWIRE

T19 finish in Hawaii Griffin closed with a three-under 67 to finish in a share of 19th place at the Sony Open in Hawaii.

Impact Griffin looked to be on his way to potentially his fourth PGA Tour victory in less than 12 months following a seven-under 63 in round one. Griffin struggled to rounds of 71-71 on Friday and Saturday, before shooting a 67 on Sunday to at least salvage a top-20 finish. The 29-year-old ranked third in SG: Off-the-Tee and fourth in SG: Around-the-Green, but was 66th in SG: Approach and 49th in SG: Putting. Griffin certainly knows what he needs to work on heading into The American Express next week.

JANUARY 19 • ROTOWIRE

Scores third win of 2025 Griffin fired a nine-under 63 in the final round to win the World Wide Technology Championship by two strokes on Sunday.

Impact In what turned into an absolute shootout, Griffin came out firing in the final round. He made 10 total birdies on Sunday, including five straight from holes 8-12 to assume control of the tournament. His 29-under-par total also set the tournament scoring record. This is Griffin's third win of the year in what has been a true breakout campaign for the 29-year-old. He also finished runner-up on two occasions to World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, including his previous PGA Tour start at the Procore Championship. There's a decent chance this will be Griffin's last start of 2025, and if so this is an excellent way to go into the offseason as he hopes to come out swinging again in 2026.

Disappointing finish in Napa Griffin had to settle for second place after shooting a two-under 70 in the final round of the Procore Championship.

Impact Griffin was in control throughout much of this week. He was looking to score his third PGA Tour win of 2025 and he got off to a tremendous starts on Sunday with birdies on each of the first three holes. Griffin went cold after that, however, playing his next 11 holes in two-over-par. He got back within one of a hard-charging Scottie Scheffler with a birdie at 15. He needed to get up-and-down from behind the 18th green for birdie to force a playoff with his future Ryder Cup teammate. A decent chip left Griffin about six feet, but the putt just wandered out to the left. This one will be a tough one for the 29-year-old to get over, but he continues to play some amazing golf.

SEPTEMBER 15, 2025 • ROTOWIRE

Ends season with 10th top-10 finish Griffin finished in a share of 10th place at the TOUR Championship following a three-under 67 in the final round.

Impact Griffin had another strong showing to bring his 2025 top-10 total to 10. He ranked third in SG: Putting, fourth in driving distance and second in scrambling at East Lake. Griffin notched his first two wins of his PGA Tour career this season and has truly been one of the best players in the world since mid-May. He has done more than enough to be deserving of a Ryder Cup selection, but there are some rumors flying around that he may be left off the team. Whatever happens, Griffin has to be proud of the golf he played in 2025 and has to be excited about his 2026 prospects.
