Loses lead in hearbreaking fashion Kohles posted a three-under 68 in the final round of the John Deere Classic to finish tied with Lucas Glover and Lee Hodges for third and two strokes back of winner Chris Gotterup.

Impact Glover and Hodges entered the final round tied for the clubhouse lead, but it was Kohles who surged to the top of the leaderboard thanks to his five-under front nine. He was sitting at 20-under entering the back but was unable to extend his lead, which allowed Gotterup to catch up to him at the top of the table. It looked like the duo were heading to a playoff, but Kohles' second shot on the par-4 18th hole missed to the left side of the green and trickled into the water. He was unable to chip the ball in for par, and he dropped down to a share of third after finishing the hole with a double bogey. It was a heartbreaking finish for Kohles, who was in a good spot to capture his maiden victory on the PGA Tour and his second win of the season, having won the BMW Charity Pro-Am on the Korn Ferry Tour in early June. Kohles is listed in the field for the ISCO Championship next week.

T19 at Memorial Health Kohles posted an 18-under cumulative score at the Memorial Health Championship on the Korn Ferry Tour to finish tied for 19th.

Impact Kohles gained 11 strokes over the weekend and ended the tournament with a five-under 66 in the final round, which would have been even better had it not been for his bogey on the par-4 18th. He led the field with an 85.7 percent driving accuracy rate while also ranking T9 in GIR and T10 in birdies. Kohles has been playing solid golf as of late, having finished T29 at the RBC Canadian Open and T23 at the U.S. Open two weeks ago. He's sixth on the Korn Ferry Tour points list but will be back on the PGA next week at the John Deere Classic.

Impact Kohles ranked T3 among the field in driving accuracy and fourth in scrambling at TPC Toronto, but he also gained a collective 4.92 strokes ball striking on the heels of his win at the Korn Ferry Tour's BMW Charity Pro-Am. He'll be in the field again this week at Shinnecock Hills for his third career U.S. Open appearance.

Impact Kohles had quite the 24 hours or so. He won the BWM Charity Pro-Am on the Korn Ferry Tour in South Carolina on Sunday night, then had to book it to the airport to make his flight to Maryland to play 36 holes the next morning. Kohles was likely running on adrenaline, but he continued his strong play into the qualifier to be able to claim one of the four spots available. Kohles sits fifth in the Korn Ferry Tour standings and in good position to earn back full PGA Tour status in 2027.
