Share of 29th in Greensboro
Rai recorded an eight-under cumulative score at the Wyndham Championship to finish tied for 29th.
Impact
Rai shot under par in all four of his rounds at Sedgefield Country Club. He ranked T11 in birdies, T19 in bogeys and top-30 in both SG: Approach and driving accuracy, though he also 60th in SG: Off-the-Tee. Rai made the cut in 12 of 17 regular-season tournaments, with his year highlighted by his maiden major win at the PGA Championship. He'll tee off next week at the St. Jude Championship, where he finished T16 in 2024 and T22 in 2025.

MC after bogey on 36th hole
Rai missed the cut by one stroke at The Open Championship following a one-over 71 second round.
Impact
Rai was right on the one-over cut line heading into the final hole of the second round, but his tee shot found the thick rough on the left side of the fairway, ultimately leading to a bogey that knocked the PGA Championship winner out of contention at Royal Birkdale. Rai actually ranked 28th in driving accuracy and was above average in SG: Off-the-Tee, but he carded only two bogeys across his two rounds compared to four bogeys. The Englishman has missed the cut in back-to-back tournaments and in three of his last six events since his triumph at Aronimink Golf Club. Rai is not listed in the field for next week's 3M Open.

Misses cut at Renaissance Club
Rai posted a one-over cumulative score at the Genesis Scottish Open to miss the cut by three strokes.
Impact
Rai has missed the cut in three of five appearances at The Renaissance Club. He gained 2.25 strokes in his approach game across his two rounds, but all of that hard work was outdone by his poor efforts on the green, losing a whopping 4.06 strokes with his putter. It's the fourth time this season that Rai has missed the cut in 15 tournaments, with two of those MC's coming over the Englishman's last four events. He'll look to rebound next week at The Open Championship, where he finished T75 in 2024 and T34 last year.

Rai closed with a one-under 69 on Sunday at the Travelers Championship to finish 11-under and tied for 30th.

Rai fired a four-under 31 on the front nine during his final round at TPC River Highlands, but he ultimately lost 1.34 strokes on approach while missing six of 18 greens in regulation Sunday. Nonetheless, he paced the Signature Event in scrambling throughout the week, converting 15 of 17 opportunities in the process. The Englishman drops two spots to No. 27 in the FedExCup standings, but he won't be in attendance for the upcoming John Deere Classic.

T11 showing at Shinnecock
Rai shot a one-under 69 in the final round on Sunday to finish in a share of 11th place at the U.S. Open.
Impact
Rai had a pretty nice showing in his first major start since becoming a major champion. He recovered from a 74 in round one with a strong three-under 67 in round two. Rai's second sub-70 round of the week on Sunday included just one bogey. The Englishman gained strokes across the board at Shinnecock highlighted by gaining the fifth-most strokes around the green. Rai was also unsurprisingly T3 in fairways hit. He will tee it up at the upcoming Travelers Championship.
