Impact For the second half of Pittsburgh's 2025 season, Fowler-El did not play much, his only stats one reception (on three targets) for 14 yards. Chances are high he does not play Pitt's bowl game Dec. 27 against East Carolina. Fowler-El has two years of collegiate eligibility remaining.

Two receptions in opener Fowler-El had two receptions (on four targets) for seven yards during Saturday's 61-9 victory versus Duquesne.

Impact Fowler-El turned some heads this offseason, but he largely disappointed in Pitt's season opener. He caught just two of his four targets for fewer than 10 total yards. His offseason praise was centered around his explosiveness, but his average depth of target was merely 5.8 yards in Saturday's opener.

Turning heads in camp Fowler-El has been turning heads in camp and might be in line for a bigger-than-expected role on offense this season, according to Jim Hammett of 247Sports.com.

Impact The sophomore has made just four appearances throughout his career, but that's about to change given how explosive he's been during camp. He seems to be earning consideration to have a bigger role in the Panthers' passing attack. Head coach Pat Narduzzi has praised his play and overall explosiveness.
