Decides to go pro Wright has declared for the 2025 NFL Draft and is expected to sit out the Military Bowl against NC State on Saturday, 247Sports.com reports.

Impact Wright played for three programs between 2021 and 2024, suiting up for West Virginia, Florida State and East Carolina. Even though his best year came as a freshman with WKU, he still posted solid numbers with East Carolina as a senior, tallying 54 catches for 556 yards and eight touchdowns across 11 appearances. He also returned 22 kicks for 590 yards and one touchdown, earning multiple All-American honors for his work on special teams. It's unclear what kind of interest he'll garner at the next level, though he could find room in a franchise as an undrafted free agent.

Impact Wright was questionable heading into the Week 14 clash with Navy, but the wideout played and played well, easily pacing the Pirates in receptions as quarterback Katin Houser's favorite target. He should have one more chance to play this season in ECU's bowl game.

With Chase Sowell (hamstring) leaving the game with an injury, Wright could continue to see high volume next Saturday at North Texas if Sowell is forced to miss the game.

Scores twice Thursday Wright caught all three targets for 80 yards and two touchdowns during Thursday's 49-14 win versus Florida Atlantic.

Impact Wright scored a pair of touchdowns in the first quarter Thursday, catches of 47 yards and eight yards which gave him his first multi-touchdown game of the season. He has now scored a touchdown in six of his last seven games. Wright also notched a season-high 80 yards in the win, all of which came in the first half. He only had three targets in the game, tied for his fewest this season, but that can be attributed to the Pirates taking a 28-point lead into halftime.

Catches TD versus Temple Wright hauled in 4 of 5 targets for seven yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 56-34 win over Temple.

Impact Wright scored his fourth touchdown of the season Saturday, a nine-yard reception in the second quarter. He made three other catches in the game and lost two yards on those receptions. Although he made four catches in his third straight game, his mere seven yards receiving was disappointing. Still, he has caught two touchdowns in Katin Houser's two starts so he will still have value down the stretch.

Impact Wright scored his fourth touchdown of the season Saturday, all of which have come in his last five games. He saw a season-high 10 targets with Katin Houser under center, potentially a sign of things to come if the Pirates continue to start Houser.

He also had a decent day on offense as he set season highs in rushing attempts and yards and caught four passes for the third time this season. The Pirates are clearly looking for ways to get Wright the ball, and he has shown an ability to break off big plays this season.
