Impact Parker logged his second consecutive 100-yard rushing game as he has established himself as the primary running back for the Utes. Even with the dual-threat QB Devon Dampier returning from an injury, he was able to provide significant value. His touchdown run came on a direct snap. Parker is electric with the ball and has seven total touchdowns on the season, more than the five total scores he had at Washington State last year. Utah is on a bye next week before playing at Baylor.

Impact Parker rushed for a season-high 145 yards against Colorado and had his best game as a member of the Utes. Utah started a freshman QB in Byrd Ficklin who also had a dominant day on the ground. QB Devon Dampier was available in an emergency situation and is expected to return for the upcoming game with Cincinnati. Either way, Parker has set himself up to have a bigger role in that game as he is averaging 7.2 yards per carry this season and is dangerous when the ball is in his arms.

Impact Not long after it was announced that NaQuari Rogers committed to Utah, Parker followed suit. Both join Mike Washington, who also committed to Utah less than one week ago. Even though Parker is the trio's only running back to not have more than five touchdowns, he logged exactly that amount during his 2024 season. Having also recorded 137 carries for 735 yards (over five per carry) during his freshman season then, he has a legitimate chance to be Utah's primary rusher during 2025.
