Impact Howard will re-enroll at Mississippi. The quarterback transferred from there to Louisiana-Lafayette for his 2025 season, during which he logged more interceptions (three) than passing touchdowns (zero) and a 43.9 completion percentage. Even if Trinidad Chambliss remains ineligible for 2026, Deuce Knight is Mississippi's next-best quarterback available, so Howard will not be immediately favored.
