Not starting vs. Toledo Jefferson is not the starting quarterback for Tuesday's game against Toledo, SB Nation reports.

Impact Jefferson went 1-for-7 for six yards during the Week 11 defeat versus Bowling Green, and it seems he's lost his starting gig ahead of the final three weeks of the regular season. Jadyn Glasser, who replaced him in that loss, has earned the start under center in his place.

Gets benched vs. Bowling Green Jefferson completed 1 of 7 passes for six yards during Tuesday's 23-13 defeat versus Bowling Green. He also had five rushes for 65 yards with one touchdown.

Impact Jefferson couldn't have been less efficient passing-wise versus the Falcons, but he did punch in a rushing score at the end of the second quarter to compliment his 65 yards. The 6-foot quarterback was eventually sidelined in the second half for freshman Jadyn Glasser, which could be a signal to the future QB hierarchy in the last three weeks of the season.

Set to start moving forward Jefferson is set to be the starting quarterback moving forward with Bert Emmanuel (leg) doubtful to play again this season, SB Nation reports.

Impact Jefferson has been hopping in under center the past two weeks with Bert Emmanuel out with a leg injury, and it appears Jefferson will stay in that spot moving forward. The underclassman quarterback has struggled when slinging the rock so far this season with just 62 passing yards for zero touchdowns and one interceptions this past week against Miami-Ohio, but he's the last man still healthy at this point in the season.

Struggles in blowout Jefferson was 7-for-17 passing for 62 yards and one interception during Saturday's 46-7 defeat versus Miami (OH). He also had eight rushes for 37 yards.

Impact Jefferson put up another terrible passing game for the Chippewas, as he filled in for an injured Bert Emmanuel (leg). Jefferson wasn't able to get much going throughout the matchup, and he even ended up dishing out an interception. He'll likely not see the field again as the starter unless Emmanuel stays sidelined.

Impact Joe Labas undergoing arm surgery indicates the Chippewas need to name someone else as their starting quarterback. Bert Emanuel Jr. (undisclosed) not being fully available means Jefferson will be their guy, at least for the time being. After replacing Labas in Week 7, Jefferson finished that week's game with eight completions for 95 yards and 10 carries for another 28 yards.

Thrown into game, almost 100 yards Jefferson completed 8 of 13 passes for 95 yards during Saturday's 27-25 loss to Ohio. He also had 10 rushes for 28 yards.

Impact Jefferson was tossed into the game during the second quarter for Joe Labas, but it's unknown if this was due to injury reasons or because the Chippewas were down 17-0 at that point. Jefferson didn't do a lot, but he did almost lead Central Michigan to a comeback which could pave way for more opportunities in the coming weeks pending Labas' status.
