Therefore, the redshirt junior logged at least nine carries for the second time since the midway point of the regular season. Potts also outpaced graduate senior Bryce Williams' two rushing attempts in this game, and he has now logged 223 carries for 1,026 yards and nine touchdowns in 17 games over the past two seasons. With Ibrahim set to head to the NFL, Potts is the top candidate to take over Minnesota's No. 1 running back role for the 2023 season.
