Logs nine carries against Colorado Howland logged nine carries for 57 yards during Friday's 52-0 defeat against Colorado.

Impact Howland received most of the carries against Colorado which was a bit of a surprise with it likely being Ollie Gordon's last game in uniform at Oklahoma State. With the game being out of hand, there weren't many carries to be had in the ground game and the Cowboys were likely starting to look to next year. Howland ended the season with 41 carries for 230 yards and a touchdown.

Double-digit touches vs. TCU Howland posted eight carries for 47 yards and gathered in both of his targets for five yards during Saturday's 38-13 defeat against TCU.

Impact Howland recorded 10 total touches, the most he has seen since he received 10 carries at Tulsa in Week 3. Oklahoma State's season is lost, so it's possible he sees an uptick in work over the last couple of games. Oklahoma State will host Texas Tech in Week 13.

Impact Howland, an Indiana transfer, added his first touchdown with the Cowboys. In action across three games, Howland has 17 carries for 83 yards and a touchdown. Oklahoma State will play West Virginia next week.

Impact Howland established a season-high 53 rushing yards as Oklahoma State blew out the Goden Hurricane on the road. Meanwhile Ollie Gordon had just 41 yards on 17 carries. It probably doesn't mean anything, but it's a trend worth watching. Oklahoma State will host Utah next week.

Making early impression Howland is making an early impression on teammates and coaches and running through everybody in in workouts, McClain Baxley of 247Sports.com reports.

Impact Howland transferred to the team back in April coming from Indiana, and it appears his impact is already being seen. With running back AJ Green (leg) out for most of the season, Howland is now poised for possible backfield work behind leading runner Ollie Gordon.

Impact Howland played in 10 games this season, totaling 75 carries for 352 yards and two touchdowns. The 6-foot-3 running back will look for a fresh start at a new program after three seasons with the Hoosiers. In his tenure with Indiana, the redshirt sophomore compiled 83 carries for 383 yards and two touchdowns.

Impact Howland paced the Hoosiers' backfield for the second week in a row, including his second rushing touchdown in as many weeks. The redshirt sophomore also finished with a team high in carries ahead of graduate senior Josh Henderson. Howland appears to have stepped into a more prominent role, which could continue to net him more opportunities this coming Saturday against Purdue.

Impact Howland paced the Hoosiers' rushing attack for the first time this season. The 6-foot-3 redshirt junior logged season highs in both rushing attempts and yards while also notching his first touchdown of the season. Howland started the season in an extremely limited role, but he's seen increasing usage over the last four games. Indiana's recent change at offensive coordinator has clearly improved this unit's efficiency this season, and it may lead to a bigger role for Howland down the stretch of the season as a result. It will be worth monitoring his workload compared to Josh Henderson and Jaylin Lucas during Indiana's penultimate game versus Michigan State next week.
