Quintrevion Wisner News, Rumors, Updates - Florida State Seminoles

Tops 100 yards in loss Wisner accrued nine rushes for 63 yards and gathered in 4 of 5 targets for 56 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 43-35 overtime loss against Miami (FL).

Impact Wisner totaled 119 yards and scored his first touchdown of the season in the Seminoles' narrow loss to rival Miami. With Samuel Singleton (lower body) set to remain out for the foreseeable future, and Ousmane Kromah (ankle) lost for the season, this looks like Wisner's backfield moving forward.

Surpasses 100 total yards Wisner posted nine rushes for 46 yards and gathered in 2 of 3 targets for 60 yards during Saturday's 38-7 win against Virginia.

Impact Wisner just barely eclipsed 100 total yards in the easy win over Virginia. He took nine carries to starter Ousmane Kromah's 17, but still managed to make a handful of big plays. He'll remain involved as the Seminoles RB2 moving forward, but don't expect a huge workload unless Kromah goes down.

Returns to practice Wisner got back into practice this week, according to Warchant. The Florida State running back had missed the Seminoles' scrimmage earlier in camp due to an undisclosed injury.

Impact This is a positive step for Wisner after his recent absence in camp. Head coach Mike Norvell was quoted saying Wisner is "good to go" after his return, clearing his status for Florida State's season opener.

DNP for fall scrimmage Wisner (undisclosed) did not play in Tuesday's scrimmage, Dustin Lewis of Sports Illustrated reports.

Impact Florida State's football program recently commenced its fall camp with a scrimmage, which did not include Wisner because he dealt with what was described as a "minor" injury. If that is the case, his imminent availability should not be such a big cause for concern, but he will wear a questionable tag going into FSU's season opener Aug. 29 against New Mexico State.

Headed to Tallahassee Wisner will transfer to Florida State, per On3.com.

Impact Wisner missed three games for Texas this season and didn't play in the bowl game agains Michigan, but he was still active in the Longhorns' ground game, rushing for 597 yards and three touchdowns on 4.6 yards per carry. In 2024, he was Texas' workhorse back with 1,064 rushing yards and five scores. He should immediately project to be the Seminoles' starting tailback with one season of eligibility remaining.

Even with Quintrevion Wisner hitting the portal, Texas shouldn't panic quite yet Texas running back Quintrevion Wisner announced his plan to enter the transfer portal after spending three seasons with the Longhorns.

Set to hit portal Wisner is expected to enter the transfer portal, On3 Sports reports.

Impact Wisner led the Longhorns with 597 rush yards this season following a breakout campaign in 2024 during which he amassed over 1,000 yards on the ground. He instantly becomes one of the top skill makers on the market and will have one year of eligibility remaining at his next destination.

Dominates in win Wisner posted 19 rushes for 155 yards and hauled in 2 of 3 targets for 19 yards during Friday's 27-17 victory against Texas A&M.

Impact Wisner was the backbone of Texas's ground game, wearing down the Aggies' front and providing balance to the offense. His big yardage and consistency helped open up opportunities for the passing game. Against future opponents, Wisner's dependability as a workhorse back gives him a strong floor - and when the second half opens up, he's got clear upside for explosive plays. The junior running back closed out the regular season with 131 carries for 597 yards and three touchdowns while reeling in 22 receptions for 146 yards and one score.

Texas A&M chases perfection and a chance to crush Texas' playoff dreams in high-stakes rivalry game

Texas A&M owes Texas an awful lot of payback over the course of a rivalry that dates to 1894

NOVEMBER 26, 2025 • Associated Press

Solid production in win Wisner totaled 15 rushes for 67 yards and caught 0 of 2 targets for zero yards during Saturday's 52-37 win against Arkansas.

Impact The junior running back posted a solid average, though he did not score and the rushing total remains modest compared to his ceiling. With Texas heavily leaning on the passing game this outing, Wisner's role appears supportive rather than featured. He will face another tough defense when Texas A&M comes into town.

NOVEMBER 24, 2025 • ROTOWIRE

Struggles in loss Wisner posted nine carries for 37 yards and gathered in all two targets for 10 yards during Saturday's 35-10 defeat to Georgia.

Impact The junior back's workload was modest and the rushing attack lacked explosiveness in this game. While he remains the lead back, the limited touches and low output in a tough matchup suggest his fantasy value may dip when the ground game struggles. Without a major breakout or touchdown, his upside appears capped-at least until Texas can reestablish running-game dominance. Wisner will look to bounce back during Saturday's meeting with Arkansas.

NOVEMBER 17, 2025 • ROTOWIRE

Finds end zone in win Wisner tallied 18 rushes for 75 yards and one touchdown and reeled in 2 of 3 targets for 28 yards during Saturday's 34-31 victory over Vanderbilt.

Impact Wisner delivered a solid outing and found the end zone, reinforcing his role as the lead back who can convert scoring chances. With Texas' offense thriving through the air, his ability to sustain drives and punch in short-yardage scores makes him a valuable complementary piece.

NOVEMBER 3, 2025 • ROTOWIRE

Minimal impact in win Wisner logged 12 carries for 41 yards and hauled in 6 of 9 targets for 17 yards during Saturday's 45-38 overtime victory against Mississippi State.

Impact The junior running back has finished below 50 rushing yards in three of his last four outings. Wisner will aim to bounce back during Saturday's game against Vanderbilt.

OCTOBER 27, 2025 • ROTOWIRE

Low output despite win Wisner logged 12 rushes for 37 yards and one touchdown and reeled in all two targets for 16 yards during Saturday's 16-13 overtime win versus Kentucky.

Impact The junior back found the end zone for the only rushing score, showing short-yardage effectiveness. However, Wisner's effectivity on the ground remains modest, reflecting the Longhorns' broader rush-offense struggles. His scoring ability gives him value, but he'll likely need better burst and blocking ahead if Texas wants to lean on the run again against Mississippi State.

Returns after injury Wisner (undisclosed) returned to Saturday's game against Oklahoma and finished the contest with 22 carries for 94 yards. He also caught all five of his targets for 34 yards.

Impact Wisner recorded a season-high mark in carries and rushing yards, but he was unable to find the end zone like he did against Florida in Week 6. Wisner should remain the Longhorns' go-to option out of the backfield as long as he stays healthy. Through three games, the junior running back has 46 carries for 185 yards and a touchdown, as well as eight catches for 56 receiving yards and one score through the air.

Impact Wisner has 18 carries for 88 yards, as well as five grabs for 34 yards through the air, before he was knocked out of the Red River Rivalry. He'll be questionable to return at the moment with the game in the fourth quarter, and look for James Simon, Christian Clark and Jerrick Gibson to take over for him in the backfield.
