Impact The USC transfer has claimed the starting job evidenced by the fact he was given the lion's share of the carries on Saturday. Unfortunately he didn't do a whole lot with them, averaging a sub-par three yards per carry. However, As long as Carr can keep up his workload he should break out for bigger games against lesser defenses than that of the Hawkeyes.

Impact Carr will head to Bloomington to play out his final year of eligibility. Over four years at USC, the running back never saw 100 carries in a season, though he flashed potential with his small workload. His best year came as a junior in 2019, when he rushed for 396 yards and five touchdowns on 5.5 yards per carry while catching 22 of 24 targets for 143 yards and a score. Carr will have the opportunity to compete immediately for the starting role with two other unproven backs in Sampson James and David Ellis.

Impact As expected, Carr is officially in the transfer portal. He went through spring practices with USC, but has decided to spend his final year of eligibility elsewhere. Carr has showed potential at times, but never really been able to put a full season of consistent productions together.
