Savion Red News, Rumors, Updates - Nevada Wolf Pack

Records four carries Red (undisclosed) logged four rushes for seven yards during Saturday's 22-19 loss to Air Force.

Impact At the very least, Red got some volume during Nevada's latest game. Ideally for him, Red can finish his 2024 season strong, showing himself as the top running back he was earlier this year. In particular, Weeks 0 to 8 saw Red log 99 carries for 649 yards and eight touchdowns.

DNP Saturday Red (undisclosed) was held out of Nevada's 28-21 loss to Boise State on Saturday.

Impact Red was a late addition to the injury report and was held out of Saturday's game with an undisclosed injury. The junior running back was recently injured in the team's contest against Hawaii in Week 9, but was able to play in last week's game against Colorado State. It is thus far unknown whether his current ailment is related to the previous injury, but it clearly was bothering him enough to justify holding him out against the Broncos. Red will hope to use the Wolfpack's upcoming bye to recover in time for a home matchup against Air Force the following Saturday.

Limited in return Red accrued 12 rushes for 20 yards and hauled in his only target for one yard during Saturday's 38-21 loss to Colorado State.

Impact Red would ultimately suit up after he was deemed questionable coming into the game. However, the junior certainly appeared to still be limited as he'd split carries with Sean Dollars. Overall, Red's up to 676 yards with eight touchdowns on 112 carries this season. He should return to his regular workload next week, albeit in a tough matchup with Boise State.

Questionable vs. CSU Red (undisclosed) was injured against Hawaii and is now deemed questionable for Week 10, Chris Murray of Nevada Sports Net reports.

Impact Red tallied one carry for seven yards against Hawaii before he was knocked out of the game. His backup, Patrick Garwo, was also dinged up against the Rainbow Warriors. If neither tailback can play against Colorado State, expect Sean Dollars to lead the way in the backfield.
