Moving on to UConn Burns has elected to transfer from Miami to UConn, per his personal Twitter account.

Impact Burns registered just 16 rush attempts for 63 yards during the 2020 seasons and didn't top 29 carries during his three-plus seasons with the Hurricanes. He will now join the Huskies with hopes of carving out a more consistent role but may not have a clear path to the starting gig immediately this season with Kevin Mensah still on the roster. However, he could challenge for the starting spot in 2022.
