Impact Farmer suffered a season-ending knee injury during last Friday's practice, and he will remain out until the 2026 season. The 5-foot-11 freshman transfer from West Virginia, who tallied six receptions for 54 yards, along with two carries for six yards on the ground with the Mountaineers last season, will need to wait another year before making his UCF debut.

Impact Head coach Neal Brown said that he expects the true freshman to play in Saturday's opener versus No. 8 Penn State. Farmer was ranked as the No. 46 recruit in the 2024 class and was a four-star prospect. While it's unclear how much he will play, it's certainly a great sign that he will be seeing action so early in his career.
