Blows up in garbage time Martin totaled 10 rushes for 100 yards during Saturday's 55-13 victory against Buffalo.

Impact Before Matt Campbell's hiring, Martin was widely considered a frontrunner for touches in 2026, but Campbell's import of Carsen Hansen from Iowa State changed that. He got a great opportunity to showcase his skills during the blowout, eventually leading the RB corps in yards and carries. The Nittany Lions showcased their depth with four solid running back performances, and Martin was the best by a wide margin.
