Enters in blowout win Henicle completed 3 of 5 passes for 20 yards during Saturday's 54-6 victory over North Carolina Central.

Impact Henicle entered the game in the fourth quarter and posted 20 yards on his three completions. Henicle threw a 10-yard completion for his longest hookup on the day.

Runs for 200 yards Henicle was 9-for-12 passing for 143 yards and two touchdowns during Saturday's 40-32 win versus Arkansas State. He also had 19 rushes for 206 yards with two touchdowns.

Impact Henicle excelled in his first career start, filling in for the injured Colton Joseph (undisclosed). He torched Arkansas State on the ground, and his 200-yard rushing day was highlighted by a 92-yard touchdown. Henicle established a connection with tight end Pat Conroy, finding Conroy for touchdowns of eight and 75 yards. Even with the win, ODU won't go bowling, so Henicle's true freshman season is over.

Mixed results in debut Henicle was 5-for-12 passing for 38 yards and one interception during Saturday's 37-17 loss to Virginia Tech. He also had 13 rushes for 64 yards with one touchdown.

Impact ODU's third-string quarterback, Henicle replaced backup Colton Joseph after two drives Saturday as the Monarchs looked for a Grant Wilson (elbow) replacement. Henicle struggled outside of a 65-yard touchdown run in the second quarter and turned the ball over twice (one interception, one fumble). Old Dominion's next game will be Sept. 28 at Bowling Green and it's unclear if Wilson will be healthy for the contest.
