Strong outing against Houston Brooks gathered in all five targets for 83 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 41-0 win versus Houston.

Impact Brooks had his best game during the conference slate with his third touchdown reception of the season. He's been easily Kansas State's most consistent receiver, however, that does provide limited upside as they revolve their offense around the run-game. Going up against a tough Texas defense next week, Brooks has sneaky potential as it could turn out to be a highly competitive game.

Impact Brooks has seen at least five targets in every game this year. That's an encouraging sign considering that Kansas State has started to utilize two different quarterbacks in a single game over the last few games. Brooks' upside remains limited due to both of those quarterbacks being run-first options. Kansas State will play Houston next week.

Impact Brooks was able to add his first touchdown reception of the season. He's starting to gain more chemistry with quarterback Adrian Martinez, but that's not saying a lot as Kansas State is a run-first team. Martinez and Deuce Vaughn combined for 35 carries for 241 yards and three touchdowns against the Red Raiders. Kansas State will play at Iowa State next week.
