Ousmane Kromah News, Rumors, Updates - Florida State Seminoles

Surpasses 100 yards in loss Kromah accrued 19 rushes for 88 yards and hauled in all four targets for 43 yards during Friday's 44-20 loss versus Louisville.

Impact Kromah notched another solid outing on the ground but was held out of the end zone for the second straight week. He did notch four catches for 43 yards to somewhat salvage his day despite a brutal loss for Florida State. The good news for fantasy managers is that no matter how ugly the Seminoles' season gets, Kromah should remain a big factor regardless.

Rather quiet despite big win Kromah logged 17 rushes for 80 yards and reeled in 2 of 3 targets for 13 yards during Saturday's 38-7 victory versus Virginia.

Impact Kromah was held out of the end zone for the first time this season despite the blowout win. Quarterback Ashton Daniels may have had something to do with that, as he ran for a whopping five scores, vulturing each and every opportunity away from Kromah. Still, the dangerous tailback continues to see 15-20 touches per game.

Productive day as FSU rolls Kromah had 11 rushes for 86 yards and two touchdowns and hauled in 1 of 2 targets for 19 yards during Saturday's 34-7 victory over Central Arkansas.

Impact Kromah predictably had his way with the FCS Central Arkansas defense, although he didn't get much of a chance to rack up yardage as he was limited to 12 touches in the blowout win. Kromah is off to a tremendous start this season with 397 rushing yards and five scores on 6.2 yards per carry.

Another touchdown in Tuscaloosa Kromah tallied 17 carries for 80 yards and one touchdown and hauled in all two targets for six yards during Saturday's 50-36 defeat versus Alabama.

Impact Kromah now has a rushing touchdown in each of Florida State's first three games, although Saturday against the Crimson Tide was the first game in which he failed to surpass 100 yards rushing. Nonetheless, he should be poised for a big week next week against an FCS team, especially now that fellow tailback Samuel Singleton is set to miss an extended period of time.

Surpasses 100 yards again Kromah had 22 carries for 116 yards and one touchdown during Monday's 27-24 loss to Southern Methodist.

Impact Kromah has gone over 100 yards in each of his first two games this fall. Against SMU, Florida State's passing offense only mustered 125 yards; they needed to rely on their star back, and he came through, scoring the game-tying touchdown in the third quarter and giving the Seminoles a reliable offensive option all night. If Florida State's passing offense remains stuck in neutral, Kromah should he in line for a monster season.

Eclipses 100 yards in opener Kromah notched 14 carries for 115 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 34-17 victory against New Mexico State.

Impact Kromah, as expected, was the Seminoles' top ball-carrier in the opener, leading the running backs with 14 carries. Samuel Singleton, and to a lesser degree Quintrevion Wisner, are factors on the ground as well, but the sophomore Kromah looks like the bell cow in Tallahassee. He'll likely see more action in a much more difficult Week 1 showdown against SMU on Monday night.

Emerging as leader in RB room Kromah (undisclosed) has been emerging among the leaders in the RB room ahead of the Aug. 29 season opener against New Mexico State, Pete Nakos of On3.com reports.

Impact Kromah was seen wearing a non-contact jersey over the weekend, but it seems that won't impact his availability for the season opener. If he stays healthy, Kromah figures to have a big role out of the FSU backfield this season. He seems to have a leg up on the RB1 gig ahead of Quintrevion Wisner (undisclosed) and Samuel Singleton (undisclosed). Kromah had 72 carries for 408 yards, as well as nine catches for 147 yards and a score, across 12 games in 2025.

Weekend without contact Kromah (undisclosed) was seen wearing a non-contact jersey during Sunday's practice, Dustin Lewis of Sports Illustrated reports.

Impact Florida State's fall camp continued Sunday, but Kromah was not an active participant. The running back's non-contact reasoning is unknown, and his injury status will be questionable as he and FSU prepare for Week 1. For rushing attempts, Kromah will compete against Quintrevion Wisner and Samuel Singleton (both undisclosed), neither at 100 percent. So if any of the three quickly recovers, he can gain an advantage in their competition.

Drops nine pounds this offseason Kromah is down nine pounds this offseason, Brendan Sonnone of 247Sports.com reports.

Impact The Florida State running back was highlighted in Sonnone's Monday roundup on offseason weight changes. The update adds context to Kromah's offseason development as he competes for backfield work at Florida State. Kromah had already drawn positive spring reports, so the weight change is another notable offseason datapoint. The tailback ran for 408 yards on 72 carries last fall, while reeling in nine catches for 147 yards and a score through the air.

JULY 13 • ROTOWIRE

Impresses this spring Kromah has impressed this spring and appears poised to form a 1-2 punch with Quin Wisner, per Tallahassee.com.

Impact Kromah had a strong freshman season at Florida State in 2025, rushing for 408 yards on 5.7 yards per carry as a freshman. He was joined by Texas transfer Quintrevion Wisner this offseason, who has plenty of production in his own right. Still, Kromah appears to be holding his own and the two should both play plenty this fall.
